Hello! My name is Joe, and I'd love to help you with your pet care needs. My experience is drawn from living in a household of dogs my entire life as well as dog walking, pet sitting, and providing general pet care since 2016. My specialties lie with handling larger dogs, dogs with sensitivities, administration of medicine, and cats in general. I'm able to calm pets who may be nervous or shy around new people through patience and reassurance, allowing you peace of mind while they're under my care. I can ensure your pet's medication is ingested or injected as necessary, even with those pets who have grown wise to their meds and would rather avoid it. And while I specialize in walking and caring for NYC's canines, I have an elderly cat of my own currently who follows a long line of cats with every personality you can imagine. So if your feline friend is skittish, finicky, or demanding, I'm your sitter. Please reach out if you think I could be a match for your needs and we can arrange a meeting! While in your home, you can expect absolute respect and care for your space and privacy in addition to trusting your pets will be cared for. I offer photos, videos, or even phone calls during bookings. If there's been an accident or mess while your pet was alone, it will be dealt with completely and you'll be informed of the details. I understand trust is the cornerstone of a service such as this and I take that very seriously, so any questions or concerns about my methods, skills, or time spent in your space I am always available and willing to address.

Joe did a great job with Lulu who tends to be skittish around new people! She was well fed and cared for the whole 5 days I was gone and Joe checked in with me and sent me pictures! I will definitely be calling him again!

Schedule
My schedule is devoted to caring for animals around NYC, with plenty of slots available for daily visits, walks, or long-term sitting. Monday through Sunday, dawn to dusk and into the night. Let me know what you need and we can plan from there!

I have experience administrating medication, ingested or injected, and am comfortable providing that to your pets.
