Safety, trust & environment
For dog sitting at my home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced backyard and front yard, offering plenty of space for your dog to run around and play. I ensure a clean, pet-friendly environment indoors as well, with plenty of attention and cuddles. As for dog walking, I understand how crucial this activity is to a dog’s well-being. Walks are more than just exercise; they’re an opportunity for your pet to explore, socialize, and release energy. I make sure each walk is a joyful and enriching experience, tailored to your pet’s pace and preferences. As a pet owner myself, I will treat your fur babies with the same care and love I extend to my own.
Information Joe K. would like to know about your pet
Before taking care of a dog, I find it important to know about their: 1. Breed and age: To understand their specific needs and energy levels. 2. Health issues: Any allergies, dietary restrictions, or chronic conditions. 3. Behavior traits: How they interact with people and other dogs, and any behavioral issues. 4. Exercise and diet routine: Preferred walk times, feeding schedules, and portion sizes. 5. Training commands: To communicate effectively with the dog. 6. Emergency contact: Vet's contact information and any special instructions in case of emergency. Knowing these details helps me provide the best possible care and ensures the dog's well-being during our time together.
A typical day
A typical day begins with a warm greeting and some playtime to help the dogs ease into the day. Next, we go on a long walk, exploring local sights and sounds while getting in some much-needed exercise. We might visit some safe and friendly dog parks, where they can socialize and play freely. For a change of scenery and a bit of a treat, we often visit local dog-friendly coffee shops, giving them a chance to experience new environments in a controlled manner. Back home, we engage in stimulating games that cater to their instinctual needs, like fetch or tug-of-war. In the evening, as we wind down, I play relaxing puppy music to create a peaceful environment, helping them rest and recharge. Each day is a blend of physical activity, mental stimulation, and heartfelt care, ensuring your dogs are happy, healthy, and content.

Thanks for being so lovely with Mary ann and Beulah! She would love to schedule another walk.

Joe always treats my pup with such love and care. There is no one I’d rather trust to take care of my girl while I am away.
