I’ve looked after cats and dogs since I was a child. I love the big ones, I love the little ones. I’ve completed a Canine Communication Diploma course and like to take treats on walks to reward and positively reinforce good behaviour. As a zookeeper with a zoology degree I’ve trained a wide range of species and have a solid understanding of animal behaviours. I enjoy making and using enrichment to keep animals mentally stimulated and am patient, gentle and experienced administering medication.

I offer walks, drop-in visits and house-sitting day and night in your home where your little ones will feel most relaxed and comfortable. I send regular updates and photos as well as completing all Rover cards in detail so you’re relaxed and at ease knowing your pet’s safe, happy and well looked after.

It was our first experience leaving our cat alone for a week and Joe made it so smooth and perfect! We couldn't be more happy with him and the way he took care of Aragorn :) Joe even provided a free of charge meet and greets to see if he could connect with us and our cat! We not only got the reassurance that our pet will be totally fine and taken care of while we are away, but additionally we even got some interesting insights on animals (since Joe is a zookeper🤓) and met a good person! Joe is amazing! He knows cats and how to make them trust and open up to him. We had great communication and all our needs were met 110%! The next time we have to leave our cat alone, there's no doubt I'm reconnecting with Joe! Thank you so so much!!

Joe was amazing from when he answered our initial message looking for a dog-walker very last minute, and throughout our experience with him. He offered to come meet us beforehand to meet our staffy Gizmo, who he got on with straight away, and knew exactly how to behave with him and treat him. Joe is clearly an experienced and passionate animal lover, and he looked after Gizmo wonderfully, taking him on a great walk, feeding him, even washing his bowl and staying to give him some cuddles after. We would 100% recommend him to anyone in the future! 😊👍🏼

I offer free meet and greets for first time customers to ensure compatibility with your dog/cat and put you at ease. I’m flexible with times and dates so I can keep your fur babies company whenever you need and for as long as you’d like.
