Dogs have been a part of my family forever and I have had a dog in my family for the past 17 years. They are like my kids and I love them very much! Duke Odin who you can see in the photos has earned his Good Canine Citizen certification and does well with animals and people! Ragnar is funny and loves to play! We have a pool and live on the canal. We love to go for walks, dog park visits and just hang out! We welcome guests. Duke is a sweet dog and well behaved. He is playful and gentle and gets along well with others. We don't allow dogs on the sofa because it's leather but I have three dog beds and toys for them to enjoy! Our guests can go out and play anytime with a fenced in yard. I have a pool and happy to watch the dog while outside if they aren't used to this environment. I am comfortable administrating meds to dpgs as well and while you are away you can be certain that your family member is being taken care of and shown lots of love! I welcome any questions and am excited to meet you and your special family member! I have a fenced in yard w a pool.

This is the second time I booked with Jody. She is terrific with my dog, Chilli. And she has two dogs of her own that get along great with Chilli, so there's plenty of playtime. Chilli came home exhausted from all the fun he had!
Jody is superb. She took terrific care of my beloved Chilli. While I was away, Jody texted me lots of pictures, which was very comforting as my first booking was also Chilli's first time having an overnight stay away from home. Chilli had a great time with her two dogs - they all got along very well and Chilli felt right at home. He was well taken care of and one can see that Jody has a genuine love for dogs. It is imperative that one trusts the person taking care of a pet, and that trust is seamless with Jody, whom I highly recommend.

Jody was super easy to deal with! Her house is dog friendly. She left the door open so the dogs could come in snd out at their leisure.
Jody was very easy to work with, her two dogs were great! Especially given my dog takes a while to warm up to other dogs- they all got along great. She was quick to communicate and sent a few notes just to update us.
We arrived in Fort Lauderdale for an extended vacation. Between the long drive here from Chicago and the different settings on the way our somewhat clingy dog was even more clingy and nervous than usual. She was at our side constantly, but we needed to find a sitter for a few hours/days to allow us to golf, fish, etc. without the dog at our side. Tho we were nervous about leaving Bella with a stranger in a new place, it all worked out beautifully. Jody's house was well set up for pets and her own dogs were very friendly. Jody was very welcoming and calmed our fears. When we returned, we half expected to see our dog acting anxious, but she was just as calm and happy as if she had spent the day with us. We won't hesitate to call on Jody again for our next outing. We'd recommend Jody to anyone needing someone to care for their dog while away.

Schedule
Work from home w a house on a canal and with a pool. Canal side is not fenced. Can’t have a dog that would jump in the canal.

A typical day
Walks fetch and outdoor activities. I think they have fun together w my two dogs playing outside as well. I typically leave the door open for the dogs to go and in and out all day.
