After many years in the corporate world, I’ve chosen to spend more time doing something that has always brought me joy—caring for dogs. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I provide dependable dog walking, drop-in visits, companionship, and personalized care based on your pup’s unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your dog enjoys energetic walks, outdoor adventures, a game of fetch, belly rubs, or simply relaxing with a caring companion, I’m happy to provide a safe and enjoyable experience. I have over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Throughout the years, I have cared for my own dogs as well as the dogs of family and friends. I am comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic medications, maintaining schedules, reinforcing training routines, and recognizing the importance of patience, consistency, and trust when caring for animals. I have recently stepped away from my full-time corporate career, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and dedicate meaningful time and attention to the pets I care for. I am available for daytime walks, drop-in visits, evening care, and weekend visits. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, exercised, loved, and cared for while you’re away.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Whether caring for your dog in your home or during walks and visits, I follow your pet’s established routine, respect your home, and provide attentive, loving care. I take time to build trust with each dog, use secure leashes and safe walking practices, and ensure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, and companionship. I maintain open communication with pet parents and provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your furry family member is in caring and capable hands.

We have trusted Jody for 22 years to house-sit and care for all four generations of our Golden Retrievers. She is completely reliable, incredibly flexible with scheduling, and always leaves our home spotlessly clean. We absolutely love the frequent text updates and photo check-ins she sends, which give us total peace of mind while we are away. Jody treats our dogs with the deepest love and care, and we cannot recommend her highly enough!
Jody was a wonderful pet sitter to our 2 large dogs. She was able to spend the night at our house so the dogs would be in their normal surroundings. She was prompt and professional and we would absolutely use her again, even if it was just to help during the day. We highly recommend Jody!
I recommend Jody to any busy working adults. She is super reliable, flexible, and has always been really nice to my dogs. While working in healthcare you never know when you’ll be called in last minute. Jody has always returned my call within the hour and has made sure my dogs got fed and long walks no matter how the late notice or how late they need the walk. Schedule
Since stepping away from my full-time corporate career, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to dedicate quality time to caring for your pets. I enjoy maintaining a balanced lifestyle, so I offer flexible scheduling for walks, drop-in visits, and pet companionship throughout the week, including many evenings and weekends.
