Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—it’s like a built-in rhythm. Mornings usually start with feeding them and a quick check-in to see how they’re doing. If I’ve got a dog, a walk’s non-negotiable; it’s good for both of us. Throughout the day, it’s little things—refilling water, a bit of playtime, or just keeping an eye out for anything off. Weekly, I carve out time for grooming, like brushing or a bath if they need it, and I’ll check supplies—food, treats, meds—to make sure I’m not running low. It’s less about ‘fitting it in’ and more about it being a priority that keeps me grounded.

For clients’ dogs, I stick to their playbook. They say ‘feed at 8, one scoop,’ I’m on it. Walks are by their clock—long ones, short loops, whatever the dog needs. I’ll toss a ball or just hang out if that’s their vibe. I watch for quirks—doesn’t eat without a pat, hates rain, that stuff—and adjust. Messes don’t linger I swipe paws if it’s wet out. They get a dog that’s fed, exercised, and happy, and a house still intact.

Information Jody H. would like to know about your pet
When I’m caring for dogs, knowing key stuff upfront is a game-changer. I’d want to know their feeding routine—how much, when, any special food. Exercise needs are big: do they crave long walks or just a quick lap? Temperament matters—chill or high-energy, good with strangers or not? Any health quirks—like meds, sore hips, or allergies—I need that too. What they love helps: fetch fanatics, tug-of-war champs, or treat hunters? Bad habits—like chewing or bolting—save headaches.
A typical day
For dogs I watch, walks to explore, fetch with a ball, tug-of-war with a rope, or a quick treat-hunt to keep them sharp. If they like water, maybe a splash. Depends on their vibe.

Pet care experience
I understand how important it is to keep your pup happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s sticking to their feeding and walking schedule, playing fetch, or just giving them some extra cuddles, I’m all in for making sure they feel loved and cared for. I’m patient with all kinds of personalities—from the energetic zoomers to the chill couch potatoes—and I’m quick to pick up on their unique needs. Plus, I’ll keep you updated with photos or messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in good hands!
Reviews

Jody provided a loving environment and home away from home for Maple.

Jody is a Rockstar when she takes care of our pup! Gruff always has a great time with his friends when he visits. I will always recommend this sitter. She takes great pride and care in her work 💜

All of Jody’s reviews live up to the hype! I was so worried about someone new watching my dog with separation anxiety, but he didn’t even want to leave! My dogs love Jody, and I see why. She truly cares about the quality of their stay. Thank you so much Jody!

Toby had a great time! Jody was wonderful keeping us updated with pictures and videos. Toby even got a bath before coming home!
