Car rides, brushing (if desired and tolerated), walks in the neighborhood and to parks, playing in the yard, fetch, tug of war, hide and seek and tag, laying in the sun, cuddles, and lap time are some of the fun things I can do to entertain your fur child.

Pet care experience
I am a fur mom to 2 golden retrievers. Our family has always had large dogs in our home as well as numerous rescue cats over the years. I have 15 years of experience with raising and caring for cats and dogs. My patience and love for animals will be evident in how I treat and care for your fur child. I enjoy walking dogs as well as taking them for rides in my car, playing fetch and tug of war. I have been known to be creative with entertaining cats with feathers, string, rubber bands, and pens as well as the occasional belly and ear rubs. I enjoy getting to know animals and what they like to do for fun as well, that includes letting your pet make the rules.

Jody was very accommodating with our uncertain schedule during our vacation in Iowa, and welcomed a couple of short "outings" we took with our dog, Dixie. Dixie is a 53-pound blue heeler mix, and as a rescue dog, has anxiety around new people. Jody was perfect in helping Dixie feel comfortable. She kept us in the loop daily with great pictures of Dixie playing or relaxing, and even took a couple of "portrait quality" pictures for us. There should be more stars available to rate Jody. We are likely to return to the same area in August and will have Jody again. This is our third time to use Rover.com, and each choice has been great.
We picked up Nora and we are very happy with her care. We received many updates and pictures while we were gone. We would definitely take her back to Jody.
Jody was an amazing caregiver for our dog! She truly loves dogs. She gave ample updates and was over-the-top with a note on the last day and several “awards” our pup earned with her. We would highly recommend Jody! ♥️
