Safety, trust & environment
We require a free meet & greet visit for all first time clients. Whether the requested service be boarding, walks, or drop ins. We feel this requirement is essential for trust, safety, and expectations. We want your dog to feel comfortable with us first be for caring for them. We have a fenced in yard and a dog door. Dog door will be blocked off at owners request. We only take one clients dogs at a time so we can devote all of our attention to them. Your dogs will be treated as our family pet while we are watching them and they will never be kept in a cage or crate unless the client requests it. Because your dog(s) will have the run of our house, we only take dogs that are completely house broken. This means if your dog only occasionally pees in the house or pees when they’re super excited, unfortunately we won’t be able to accommodate a booking. We live in the country and on rare occasions we have found a tick on our dogs. This has happened maybe four times in the past 20 years. If we’re going to be walking your dogs on our property, they should be on a flea and tick preventative. We have security cameras in the house and outside. My husband is retired law enforcement and I am a registered nurse.
Information Jodie S. would like to know about your pet
Our last dog had a lot of special needs, he went blind from a condition calls SARDs and he was already behind the eight ball with only 3 legs. We adopted him that way and had him for 9 years. We had the opportunity to train him to use the dog door prior to his blindness. We are well equipped to handle special needs dogs. Unfortunately, we do not accept dogs that are not completely housebroken. Also, we’d like to make sure your dog does not have severe separation anxiety. Thanks so much, hope to see your pup soon ☺️
A typical day
We have 22 acres, we’d love to take your dog for a leash walk. We play catch and anything else the dog likes. We have tennis rackets and balls, lots of things to keep them busy! We guarantee your pup will have as good a vacation as you will!

Very fun, caring and safe housing!!
Pet care experience
We’ve always had dogs until recently. Our last one went to the rainbow bridge last June. We’re taking a break from dog ownership, but would love to still have dogs around! We have over 30 years of experience with all kinds of dogs and other pets.
Reviews

Our dogs love going here while we are away! Multiple walks a day, plenty of updates with pictures and videos. We feel at ease every time we leave our dogs with them!

We are so happy with John and Jodie they took very good care of our dog coco, updating us thru out the day we could see coco was very happy and content

This is the second time Jodie and John have watched our two dogs and hopefully not the last! They truly treated our girls like their own beloved pets. We so appreciated (and enjoyed!) the plentiful videos and photos they sent each day. It allowed us to breathe easier while away knowing our dogs were receiving such loving attention and care.

Great service/relationship. No worries or concerns about leaving Maggie with them at anytime.
