Generally, I am available mid morning to late evenings but will try to accommodate based on your needs. I am also often available for last minute bookings, so feel free to check in! I have a flexible work schedule and am home most days of the week, making it easy for me to check in on your dog, go for a walk, or care for your pup while staying with me!

I always follow the dog’s lead and get to know their personality to the extent possible. I approach any type of pet care with patience and flexibility, knowing not every dog is the same. Whether your pup is anxious and shy or playful and trusting, I want to meet them where they are. I’ll also stick closely to your instructions, be communicative and send lots of photos!

Let me know if your dog has any specific triggers, allergies or behaviors I should be aware about. For example, if your dog has a tendency to chase rabbits or rats, I would like to know! It would also be helpful for me to know your dog’s energy levels and any personality traits you feel are important to share.
A typical day
I love to provide both mental and physical stimulation. This includes long walks that allows them to sniff or providing puzzles with treats hidden for them to find.

As an owner of an anxious but loveable Shiba, I fully recognize every dog has unique needs. I have experience caring for dogs of all temperaments, including doggos who may need a little extra patience and understanding. I always try to adjust my care to suit each dog’s comfort level!

Jodie’s flexibility is unmatched! Recently I had a family situation where I needed to change the schedule last minute and she was so compassionate and accommodating. Having her help during this trying time is such a relief!
Jodie has only been hanging out with Brinkley for a short while but I can already see a difference in him. On the days she comes to visit, he has more energy when I get home at night. I am so thankful Jodie came into our lives!
Jodie has been taking care of my almost 17 year old pup for just a week now and I know he is in the best hands. She has been incredibly communicative with me and is very attentive and kind and caring to Brinkley. Cannot recommend Jodie enough!
