lways owned pets (Dogs,cats, rabbits) and have always been interested in working with animals. I have experience working with many during my time in college and university. I achieved my extended diploma in animal management and have recently achieved my level 4 in management of animal collections with conservation. During my time at college/uni I had the opportunity to work on the animal units and wildlife park with a variety of different animal species including mammals (wallabies, lemurs, rats, mice, marmosets, tamarins, meerkats etc.), reptiles (snakes, geckos, bearded dragons, tortoises.), birds (parrots, lovebirds, cockatiels), and invertebrates (tarantulas, cockroaches, millipedes, stick insects) and more. I have also had keeper experiences at Flamingo Land where I got to work with giraffes, hippos, and rhinos, and at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust. I have also been working as a veterinary nursing assistant part time for 5 years. I am responsible and good with animals and will give your pets the best care possible. I unfortunately do not drive yet but am able to travel to Calverley, Rodley, and Farsley by foot and am more than happy to work in any weather conditions.
