Former Animal Rescue Volunteer
When I lived in Hong Kong, I was the head volunteer at PALS, a registered charity dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals. Through that experience, I cared for dogs with all kinds of temperaments, needs, and backgrounds, and it fostered my love for dogs. I also had my own dog, Cookie, who lived to be 17 years old (“the oldest corgi I’ve ever met,” according to our vet 😊). Since moving away from home, I really miss having dogs in my day-to-day life. I’d love to give your dog the same care, patience, attention, and affection that I gave my own. So, whether your dog is energetic, shy, cuddly, or older and needs extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

My biggest priority is making sure that every walk is safe and enjoyable for your pet. I will always try my best to adapt to the pace and exercise needs of your pet and follow any specific instructions that you have for me. I will also send pictures of your dog during our walks so you know they are well loved!

Jodie did a great job! We did a meet-and-greet the day before and then for the drop-in visit, she was attentive to detail, followed my instructions perfectly, asked questions when unsure, and maintained constant communication with me (and sent pictures). I felt at ease about my pup’s first experience with Rover - and relieved to be able to get some help when I can’t return home during the day. Will be booking with Jodie again!
Helped us very last minute when we were out of town to do drop in visits in our home and received detailed reports after each visit, keeping us informed about how everything went and giving us great peace of mind!!
Jodie was great!! Super attentive to detail and took great care of our pup. We got lots of pictures and communication from her the whole time, so we always felt connected with our fur baby back at home. Would book again!
Jodie did a great job with my big hound dog, Avey, who can be a bit of a handful! She follows instructions carefully and is very responsive. Jodie even accommodated a last minute schedule change for me. Highly recommend!
I've known Jodie since 2024 and she is an incredibly sweet person that is caring with dogs. Jodie has spent time with my two golden retrievers and has always been extremely gentle and attentive to what makes them happy. Jodie is also very responsible and routinely goes above and beyond for the friends, family, and dogs in her life. My dogs were always excited to see her and I would highly recommend Jodie to other people looking for someone to take care of their own dogs.

Schedule
I start graduate school in the fall, so I currently have all day to care for and play with your dogs. I am available most mornings and early afternoons.
