Since I was a child, people would bring strays or unbalanced animals to our house who would suddenly be calm and comfortable in my care. I spent a lot of time in nature and wild animals would often follow me home. I now have my Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and wrote an original thesis on clicker training for service dogs. I am on the Board and a trainer for Hero Puppies for Life where we train service dogs for heroes with PTSD. We use positive reinforcement and are focused around relational bond training. This sets the dogs up for success to support their humans. We also teach their humans how to understand their dog's instincts and communication. I am quite passionate about it. :) Leo is my 7 year old black lab and personal service dog so your fur family will have free socialization and canine therapy in addition to my human care. He has worked with me extensively as a focal point in my approach to providing applied behavior analysis therapy to children and dogs.
