Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, care, and consistency throughout the day. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I’m available mornings from 6:00am–9:30am and evenings from 6:00pm–11:00pm. This works well for pets who need early morning walks, evening exercise, feeding visits, or company while their owners are away. For dog boarding, I’m home with pets until 10:00am each day, back again at lunchtime around 2:00pm, and then home from work from 6:00pm onwards for the evening and overnight. I always make sure boarded dogs have regular toilet breaks, attention, exercise, and a comfortable environment where they feel safe and relaxed. On weekends, I’m completely free and available throughout the day, which means I can provide even more time, attention, walks, playtime, and companionship for pets in my care.

The safety, comfort, and happiness of every pet in my care is always my top priority. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they can feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible while their owner is away. I make sure dogs have regular toilet breaks, walks, fresh water, and a consistent routine to help them feel at home. I also appreciate knowing what helps pets feel relaxed, any triggers or anxieties they may have, and their usual sleeping arrangements or favourite activities. For dogs, it’s useful to know their walking habits, recall ability, lead behaviour, and energy levels. For cats, I like to know whether they are shy, indoor-only, or have any special routines or preferences. The more information owners can provide, the better I can tailor my care to suit their pet and keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible.

A typical day with the pets I care for includes plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and cuddles to help them feel happy and comfortable. I always try to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel settled and relaxed. For dogs, this can include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of companionship throughout the day. Depending on the dog’s personality and energy level, we may enjoy longer walks, games, or quieter time relaxing at home. I always make sure dogs get regular toilet breaks, fresh water, meals on schedule, and plenty of affection. For cats, I spend time playing, giving attention at their pace, refreshing food and water, cleaning litter trays, and making sure they feel calm and comfortable in their environment. I understand that some cats love interaction while others prefer quieter company, so I always adapt to their personality and needs. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can see their pets are happy, safe, and being well cared for while they’re away.
