Availability
I will bring stuff to work, but only after your animal is taken care of and settled. I have plenty of time to hang out and play with your dog.

I don't watch dogs at my home. I prefer to keep the pets in their own home because they are less stressed. I will always ask the owner for any routines the animal has and stick to them. While I am watching the pets, I will text the owner with updates and pictures.
Information Jodi T. would like to know about your pet
Allergies? Medication? Illnesses to watch for? Past Illnesses? Is the dog friendly to other dogs? Leash aggression? Food aggression? Anything in the neighborhood I should know about or avoid? Stress habits? (like chewing, licking, etc.)
A typical day
I am not big on taking dogs out in the car unless the dog is extremely comfortable with me. I prefer to stay in the neighborhood. I try to get in 3 walks a day (with various bathroom breaks) based on the owner's advice. The length is based on the dog's health. If the dog is healthy, I like to wander the area. Keeping the dogs' energy in check helps the dog stress less about their owner.

Your Fur Baby is my Fur Baby!
Pet care experience
I have been walking dogs and pet sitting professionally for 12 + years. I started taking care of pets in California (9 years) but moved back to Missouri in 2020. I grew up in the country and we took in many strays. I have plenty of experience watching puppies/kittens (a few days old) thru to senior dogs/cats (18.5 years). I find it fascinating and have learned (and researched) so much about dogs, how they change over their life, their personalities, allergies, and illnesses. I can give medicine (an inhaler, too) when needed. I know basic commands and can help with training. I always listen to the owner and give advance when asked. I have experience with rabbits but very limited. I have a ton of references. I would be happy to share them. "Your fur baby is my fur baby." Plus a tired dog is a happy dog!? Let Talk!

We couldn’t have asked for a better house and dog sitter! She took wonderful care of our three dogs over the past four days, and we returned home to happy, well-loved pups and a house in perfect condition. She was highly communicative throughout our time away, providing updates that gave us complete peace of mind. She handled a few unexpected challenges with professionalism and ease, which truly speaks to her reliability and dedication. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I can’t say enough great things about her—she was absolutely fabulous! We would trust her again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a dependable and compassionate sitter.

Jodi was great! She spoiled our dog with walks and attention. I think our dog misses Jodi more than she missed us! We will definitely book with Jodi again

Jodi is awesome! This was our first time hiring a pet sitter and so glad we found Jodi. We received pictures and updates daily. We will definitely reach out to Jodi for all our pet sitting needs in the future!

Jodi was wonderful with my animals, especially my dog who needed multiple medications and extra care while I was away. She is professional, patient, dedicated and communicative. I would recommend her to anyone in need of pet/house sitting. Truly blessed to have had her as a sitter!
