I have been a pet owner for most of my life. I have more experience with dogs, but have become a cat lover as well. I have experience watching dogs for friends and have also taken some courses about dogs and cats! Nothing feels better than playing with or cuddling with a four-legged friend.

Jodi was absolutely amazing! Super attentive and thorough, great communication and Outlaw was a very happy cat when we got home! This was our first time hiring a pet sitter and we were very nervous to be leaving Outlaw for the first time and Jodi absolutely put our minds at ease! The updates were thorough and she always sent pictures which was lovely! Couldn’t recommend Jodi enough! We will absolutely be hiring her again next time we go away!
Maera really enjoyed her stay with Jodi! Jodi provided us with regular communications and photos and we were so happy to see that Maera settled right in with Jodi's dog Jina and cat. We highly recommend Jodi to our friends with fur kids.
Jodi communicated often (and with lots of pictures!). Bentley came home a happy pup!!
Chewie had a great stay! Jodi regularly sent photos and updates, and we came home to a happy dog.

Schedule
I’m currently working full time, but have a hybrid model of working from home half of the time. This will fit before and after my Monday to Friday workday.

Safety, trust & environment
I will make sure dogs get let out and litter boxes are clean and water dishes are filled. I will let animals out for exercise as the owner would wish, and will make sure there is some play, petting and even some training, if owners let me know what to work on. I will also feed pets as the owners wish.

A typical day
I like to take dogs along sidewalks and bike trails. I live close to a river and bike path with green spaces. My dog loves to run around in open grass. I leave her on leash of course. I also have a nice, fully fenced back yard that dogs can roam, relax and run free in. Throwing sticks and balls is also fun. I do whatever it takes to get a dog to play and run around.

- It is important to know what the dog can and can’t eat, and what the eating schedule is. It is also important to understand anything from how the dog gets along with other animals/people, any special needs, health issues, particular toy preferences, daily routine, how it is trained to walk and such.
