This includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, medication needs, quirks, anxieties, emergency contact(s) and how they do with new people or new environments. I also appreciate knowing their potty habits, favorite comforts, any fears (storms, loud noises, other dogs), and whether they’re crate‑trained or prefer open spaces. The more I know ahead of time, the more I can make their stay feel just like home.

I love giving pups a mix of fun and relaxation while keeping everything safe and calm. We enjoy short, supervised playtime in my fully fenced backyard that overlooks a peaceful lake, plus sniff‑walks. We can lounge in the screened‑in porch where they can watch birds, feel the breeze, and relax. Whether it’s cuddles, quiet enrichment, or light play, I tailor activities to what makes each pup happiest.

For 14 years, I cared for my beloved dog Maks — a sweet, nervous rescue who taught me the power of patience, routine, and gentle reassurance. I hand‑fed him, managed his daily medications, and supported him through his senior years with calm, consistent care. I understand how to help shy, older, or sensitive pups feel safe, loved, and at home. Your dog will receive the same gentle, one‑on‑one care I gave to Maks every day.
