Hello hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I’m a 20-year-old dog lover that recently picked up petsitting in December! 😋🫶🏽 Until last year, I’d grown up with pets my entire life. Since my last childhood Pitbull, Roxy (one out of three total dogs) passed away last July, it’s been difficult adjusting to life without them to share it with me. My schedule feels hollow and incomplete after having spent the last four years with two senior dogs. Those four years have given me experience waking up both late and early to tend to a pet’s many needs, and stay up as long as needed to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Living in a house of dog lovers, your pet(s) will be both well-cared for and showered with love all throughout their stay. 💕 Having our late girl’s passing so recent, we still have all the living necessities available for use if need be. This includes pet beds, food/water bowls, functional kennels, poop bags, and a couple toys. We adore our dogs, and are ready to cherish yours just as much before they return back into your loving arms. Petsitting will provide peace of mind for both me and my clients. Whether you’re away for a short or extended period, rest assured your pet(s) stay with us will be easygoing, well communicated, and overall an experience to remember! 😁

We highly recommend Joycelyn! She was so accommodating when we needed someone to watch our goldenlab at the last minute. She went out of her way to meet him prior to booking to ensure it was a good fit for him and her. She is a great communicator, which is so important. She made sure to give us updates while we were gone and keep us in the loop. She treated him like he was her own and gave him so much love and attention. We are so happy and thankful we met Jocelyn.
Jocelyn is great with our two very nervous doggies. She is a great communicator and she is on top of all the needs of our doggies. She has been great on dog walks and for boarding!. We feel that she loves our boys as much as we do and have peace of mind that they are in great hands. Highly recommend her to take care and watch your fur babies!
Jocelyn sticks to a very structured schedule in taking care of pets and always tends to the pet’s needs. She is also very flexible and will make herself available. Plus, she loves animals!

Schedule
I’m currently hunting for a full-time position outside of Rover. When I eventually enter the workforce, petsitting will likely become a background gig I can no longer give my full attention to. Since it’ll be my first ever job, adapting to a new schedule will cause me to become heavily split between sleep, work, and my own physical health, which would conflict with petsitting until I’d find a decent balance. More info will come when I get a job! 😄

Safety, trust & environment
Our family and neighborhood is strict about leashes, so despite our open deck and yard, while outside your pet will NEVER be without a leash or left unattended. Provided collar and leashes would be appreciated! We have a room designated for crates in case of emergencies, and will not hesitate to use them in the unlikely circumstance that we need them. Our lives were once surrounded by two pitbulls and a chihuahua that we showered with love daily. Expect that your pet(s) will be treated as if they were our own! ❤️
A typical day
I’m a homebody at heart and love to chill around the house and administer frequent snuggles between lounging about! 🛋️ 🥔 If we have the ingredients at the time, I’m open to cooking a special meal as a treat to share with your fur babies. This usually includes eggs, boiled chicken, carrots, fruits, or other healthy pet friendly options we may have lying around! None of these will be offered without permission first!! Feel free to bring up suggestions as well! 🍳🥕 I have a habit of running around the house chasing my dogs or vice versa to stimulate a little movement after hours of sitting still. 🏃 While outside, I’m open to walking around our small neighborhood, playing with some toys, or sunbathing in the grass to ensure some good Vitamin D for the day. ☀️ Whatever your dog needs to feel at home!
