Hello hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I’m a 20-year-old dog lover that recently picked up petsitting in December! 😋🫶🏽 Until last year, I’d grown up with pets my entire life. Since my last childhood Pitbull, Roxy (one out of three total dogs) passed away last July, it’s been difficult adjusting to life without them to share it with me. My schedule feels hollow and incomplete after having spent the last four years with two senior dogs. Those four years have given me experience waking up both late and early to tend to a pet’s many needs, and stay up as long as needed to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Living in a house of dog lovers, your pet(s) will be both well-cared for and showered with love all throughout their stay. 💕 Having our late girl’s passing so recent, we still have all the living necessities available for use if need be. This includes pet beds, food/water bowls, functional kennels, poop bags, and a couple toys. We adore our dogs, and are ready to cherish yours just as much before they return back into your loving arms. Petsitting will provide peace of mind for both me and my clients. Whether you’re away for a short or extended period, rest assured your pet(s) stay with us will be easygoing, well communicated, and overall an experience to remember! 😁

Jocelyn was great with my pup! He was so happy and comfortable with her, he didn’t want to get up to come home! It was a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend her enough.
Jocelyn is truly the sweetest person ever. She is a great communicator, and I received messages and pictures of Bella every day. I could tell from every photo that Bella was happy, comfortable, and receiving the best care. When I picked Bella up and placed her in the car, she was very calm and relaxed. She usually shakes, so seeing her that peaceful showed me just how safe and comfortable Jocelyn made her feel. I absolutely loved having Jocelyn as Bella’s sitter. She is truly one of a kind. I highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my Bella.
Jocelyn was great. Her and her family were amazing taking care of our two dogs. She kept me updated and shared photos of them while we were on vacation. It took the worry out of leaving them. She was prompt and accommodating. We will be using her again for our next adventures. Our old dog did not want to leave. Our dogs were loved and cared for and it showed. Thank you, Jocelyn.

We highly recommend Joycelyn! She was so accommodating when we needed someone to watch our goldenlab at the last minute. She went out of her way to meet him prior to booking to ensure it was a good fit for him and her. She is a great communicator, which is so important. She made sure to give us updates while we were gone and keep us in the loop. She treated him like he was her own and gave him so much love and attention. We are so happy and thankful we met Jocelyn.
Jocelyn is great with our two very nervous doggies. She is a great communicator and she is on top of all the needs of our doggies. She has been great on dog walks and for boarding!. We feel that she loves our boys as much as we do and have peace of mind that they are in great hands. Highly recommend her to take care and watch your fur babies!

I OFFICIALLY HAVE A JOB! 🙌🏽 ‼️For returning clients, please note I will be labeled as “Away” for the first month or two of working‼️ With this new development, petsitting was always meant to become a background gig, or rather stay a temporary working solution. Due to this, for the time being I will NOT be accepting new clients, and will likely turn down a lot of previous ones! It breaks my heart having to consider moving on from petsitting, 😔 but just know my mind isn’t set just yet. Once I have a good grasp of work and gaining a decent sleep schedule, I’ll be able to look into resuming my petsitting services with minor tweaks to who I can and can’t accept (depending on pet needs and boarding length). So for now, I am simply taking a break! 🤗 Thanks for understanding, and I look forward to returning with more news on the matter in the near future! ❤️

Our family and neighborhood is strict about leashes, so despite our open deck and yard, while outside your pet will NEVER be without a leash or left unattended. Provided collar and leashes would be appreciated! We have a room designated for crates in case of emergencies, but will only use them in the unlikely circumstance that we need them. I keep in close contact with all my clients, and will send updates with photos at the start/end of everyday of boarding. Perfect excuse to take cute pictures of doggies on a frequent basis! Our lives were once surrounded by two pitbulls and a chihuahua that we showered with love daily. Expect that your pet(s) will be treated as if they were our own! ❤️
A typical day
I’m a homebody at heart and love to chill around the house and administer frequent snuggles between lounging about! 🛋️ 🥔 If we have the ingredients at the time, I’m open to cooking a special meal as a treat to share with your fur babies. This usually includes eggs, boiled chicken, carrots, fruits, or other healthy pet friendly options we may have lying around! None of these will be offered without permission first!! Feel free to bring up suggestions as well! 🍳🥕 I have a habit of running around the house chasing my dogs or vice versa to stimulate a little movement after hours of sitting still. 🏃 While outside, I’m open to walking around our small neighborhood, playing with some toys, or sunbathing in the grass to ensure some good Vitamin D for the day. ☀️ Whatever your dog needs to feel at home!

- ❗️In terms of pickup/dropoff, we usually don’t allow new clients to come directly to our house upon first meeting! For safety purposes, I personally prefer meeting in a public location at a reasonable hour in our general area.❗️ ‼️For owners that prefer to bring their own treats, please note I have a SEVERE peanut and nut allergy, along with a minor allergy to fish! Please be mindful when providing treats. ‼️ Please let me know ahead of time any and all dog’s medications, special needs, food preferences, past medical emergencies, triggers, behavioral habits, and whether they’re trained (potty, sit, etc). I would love to know their breed(s), age(s), and friendliness level also, just to prepare a sense of what I’ll be dealing with. 😊 Don’t be afraid to share how your dog often deals with certain people (men, children, POC)! We once had a pitbull that didn’t quite trust older black men, so we understand prejudice in dogs can happen! 😅
