While I'm newer to formal pet sitting, I've cared for dogs and cats for family friends and neighbors so your pet won't be my first! I'm a natural with animals, patient, and attentive to each pet's personality. I love dog walking (it's my favorite way to get cardio in!), so your dog will always get an enthusiastic, energetic walker. Based in the New Haven area for the summer and completely available, your pet will get my full, undivided attention!

Josi watched my dog for a few days while I was away and honestly she was so great with him (which I knew she was going to be because whenever she comes over, my dog just loves her). She took him out, played with him, and he was absolutely exhausted and happy when I got back which is really all you can ask for. She’s just one of those people who’s naturally good with animals. My dog is a bit reactive to other dogs, but she knows how to stay calm and handle it without making a big deal of it, which honestly impressed me. I wasn’t worried once the whole time I was gone. Would absolutely ask her again!
I have two older cats and finding someone I actually trust with them is not easy. Josi sat for them a few times over the past couple of years and every time I came home to two very content cats and a house exactly as I left it. She followed every instruction to the letter, including the more involved ones because the cats are older, and she never once made me feel like I was being too particular. What I appreciated most was that she didn’t just drop in and leave, she stayed and spent real time with them. I could tell from the updates she sent that she genuinely cared, not just that she was going through the motions. Highly recommend her without reservation.
