When your pet is in my care, you can trust that I'll get to know their unique needs and desires. I'm happy to spend the time and energy getting to know your pet, so that they can feel most loved and supported in my care. If your dog particularly loves to chase a ball and be outside, I'll gladly spend my time playing with them and getting out their energy! If your dog prefers to hang out alone and not be smothered in attention, and you just need someone to feed them and let them out.. that's cool too! My main priority at all times is that your pets feel cared for and happy, whatever that means for them :)

Please let me know if your pet has any sort of particular behaviors that I should be aware of (anxious tendencies, depression when family is gone, reactiveness, anywhere they don't like to be pet). I want to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable at all times!
A typical day
Sitting: While sitting, I'll generally spend most of my time in your home giving your pup lots of love and playtime! I'm quite the active person and enjoy long walks/runs/and exploring local trails and parks... of course, it's always better with a furry friend by my side! Drop ins: For pups, I'm always happy to spend my visit playing with them, giving them love, or just taking care of simple needs! For kitties, providing food and water, scooping litter, and playing/giving them love are all in the mix! How I spend my visits will be completely up to you, based on what your pet specifically needs. Walks: I'd love to walk your pup in your neighborhood, or on a local trail! I always walk on leash out of respect for other dogs who may be reactive, even if your pup is friendly. I'm fully comfortable walking multiple dogs, and I'll spoil them with treats along the way!

Hello hello! I've taken care of pets throughout my whole upbringing, and have always felt the deepest love and connection to animals. Anyone who knows me will testify that if there's a dog or cat around, you can find me giving it some love! I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, and bunnies, and have developed lots of knowledge around animals behavior and needs. I've cared for my current dog through puppy training, and previous dogs and cats through their old age. I also have experience with anxious and reactive dogs. My current dog has become quite the anxious girl after being attacked by another pup years ago. This change in behavior has led me to be conscious and responsive to her body language, so I know what she's feeling and what she needs from me. If you have a dog who's anxious around people or other dogs, you can trust that I'll be fully responsive to their emotions, and care for them accordingly. I'll make sure to get to know your dog's personality, and respond to their own unique needs. My main hope is that your animals feel comfortable, safe, and loved when they're around me.

Jocelyn provided excellent care for our goldendoodle, Ziggy, while staying at our house for several nights. She provided him with daily walks and adventures, kept up with his medicine, and left our house very clean and tidy. She also provided regular updates and photos. I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!
Jocelyn did a wonderful job looking after my two dogs for a week. She was responsible, and caring. I get anxious when thinking about leaving my dogs under the care of someone else because they can be handfuls. Jocelyn came to meet my dogs before staying with them and had wonderful questions about their routine, preferences, and personalities. She was patient with my Yorkie who is standoffish and weary around new people. When she showed up to dog sit, my Yorkie greeted her happily and with a toy. He only does that two 5 people so this was a great sign! My other dog is a spaniel who loves everyone and Jocelyn welcomed all the snuggles and kisses happily. Throughout my trip, she kept me updated with photos and details of what they had done that day. When I got home, I was shocked to find the driveway shoveled along with the deck. Laundry was done and dry in the dryer, and my home looked wonderful. Jocelyn went above and beyond not just with caring for my fur children, but my home. I would highly recommend to book dog sitting or walking with Jocelyn. You won’t be disappointed!
Jocelyn is fantastic!! She was all the things you want in a dog sitter (especially one staying overnight) - prompt, responsive, kind, communicative, trustworthy - and the dogs love her!! Even our girl Boston Terrier, who tends to be nervous when we travel, looked like she was relaxed and having a great time playing in the pictures Jocelyn sent along. We'll definitely book her again, and would 100% recommend her!!
