Jocelyn can care for
Availability
As a teacher with summers off, I have a very flexible schedule throughout July and August. I’m available for early morning, midday, and evening visits — and can easily accommodate weekend or last-minute bookings. This also means I can spend extra quality time with your pets, whether that’s a longer walk, extra playtime, or just being a calm, consistent presence for your furry family.

A typical day
A Typical Day as a Rover Pet Sitter: Cats, Dogs, and Tail Wags Every day as a Rover sitter is a little different, but one thing is always the same: pets come first! Morning: My day usually starts early with dog walks and check-ins. I make sure pups get plenty of time to sniff, stretch their legs, and burn off some energy before breakfast. For cats, I make sure they get their zoomies out and playtime in. I check water bowls, serve meals just how each pet likes it, and give any meds or supplements if needed. Midday: This is when I stop by for drop-in visits or check on cats. I scoop litter boxes, refresh water, and give plenty of cuddles (if the cats are into that—some just want a treat and a chin scratch). I also love sending photo updates to pet parents so they know their fur babies are doing well. Afternoon: For dogs during extended drop-ins, I focus on enrichment—puzzle toys, training games, or just some good old-fashioned belly rubs. I make sure each pet gets attention suited to their personality, whether they’re playful or more low-key. Evening: Dinner time means refilling bowls and another potty break or walk. Cats get their second visit of the day, and we wind down with treats and a bit of play—chasing a feather toy or laser pointer for the feline crowd. Before bed, I double-check that everyone is safe, secure, and content. It’s important to me that pets feel calm, cared for, and comfortable while their humans are away.

Reviews
Jocelyn was professional, punctual and very kind to my dogs, Marcy and Zoe. It was clear from the photos Jocelyn sent that the girls adored her! I was 100 percent comfortable knowing Jocelyn was caring for my dogs while I was out-of-state! I highly recommend her!

Jocelyn was super responsive and great to communicate. She did a drop in visit for us while we were in ADK. From the reviews and pictures, I can tell she cared for our pup and treated the drop in with professionalism. While on top of a mountain, I received her review of her visit and pictures - it made me feel at ease and know our dog was taken care of. I would highly recommend her and would rebook again in the future!

Jocelyn takes lovely photos and reports on her walls with Batman. Always on time and had very kindly cleaned up after some messy counter cruising!

Another great visit by Jocelyn. Thank you!
