You might spot me and my kids on the streets of Fishtown/East Kensington trying to convince you to let us say hi to your dog. It's basically a hobby at this point. I don't have a dog of my own right now, but don't let that fool you — I grew up completely surrounded by them. My mom had a real soft spot for baby animals, so our house was a revolving door of new arrivals over the years. We had everything from tiny Chihuahuas to giant, shaggy Old English Sheepdogs (and pretty much every size in between). That kind of variety taught me early on that every dog has its own personality, its own quirks, and its own way of showing love — and I've genuinely loved all of it. These days, without a pup of my own at home, caring for other people's dogs is how I get my fix.
