Animal Lover 🐾 Family With 2 Cats
Hello! I'm Jocelyn and I'm currently living with my sweet little tuxedo cat, Chikachironi and my fiesty girl, Bubu. I've always been a huge animal lover and would be honoured to be able to take care of your pets whenever you need. I'm currently offering to be a pet sitter to start a fun and rewarding side hustle. I don't have any professional pet sitting experience, however, I've always grown up with cats and dogs. I've had a Shiba Inu (male), Pomeranian (female), and British Shorthairs (male + female) as well as my current Domestic Shorthairs (male + female). Additionally, I've helped friends pet sit their golden retrievers (female), mini poodles (male), corgis (male), american longhair (female), Akitas (male), and husky mixes (male + female). I've also worked at a wildlife rehabilitation centre in the past so I have some knowledge and experience in recognizing little changes in behaviour that may be indicative of any issues. I'm offering cat and dog boarding and petsitting services and am comfortable with administering both oral and intravenous medication. I'm happy to offer basic dog training and casual grooming (brushing). As I'm new to petsitting, I'll be boarding one pet at a given time. For dogs, I'm able to offer 2-3 walks per day for at least 30 minutes.

Jocelyn was phenomenal at catering to the needs of my 1 Y/O M Akita Inu. She is well experienced with caring and interpreting behavior of dogs. She had no problems following instructions and has a flexible timetable. She has gained my trust and would go back again when needed!

Schedule
I typically work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will be out of the house from 9:15AM-4:45PM and occasionally will be out of the house during the evenings for volleyball but I will always make time for your fur babies and would be more than happy to accommodate them as needed. Otherwise, I stay at home most of the time. As I have cats at home, I only take vaccinated pets but I'm super excited to meet your best friend!

Safety, trust & environment
Currently I'm living alone in a 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment (~900sqft) with a small balcony. Guest pets are allowed to sleep anywhere and can go on the beds and couches (if permission is granted from the owner). I have the extra guest bedroom as your pet's private room in case they feel anxious or just need their own space away. I like to use this space as the pet's own warmup room so that both your pet and mine can get used to each other slowly.
