Hi! I have always loved being around animals. As a child, I was lucky enough to grow up with a loveable Great Dane and several cats. My husband and I can't imagine a life without dogs, and dogs have been a part of our active family for over 19 years. Griffin, a German Shorthaired Pointer has been part of the family for the last 10 years. Six years ago we adopted Merrie, a Plott hound mix. Both are friendly and get along very well with most other dog breeds and sizes. My husband, son and I have flexible work schedules, allowing one, or both of us to be home with your pet a majority of the time. We want to make sure that your pet is comfortable and gets plenty of exercise/play time and as many potty breaks as he or she may need! Our three children (ages 18, 20, and 22) love to spend time caring for and playing with animals as well. We have a large, well-maintained backyard and live in a beautiful neighborhood that is perfect for fun dog walks. If you need someone reliable to drop in on your pet (dog or cat) for company/care/feeding, or for an afternoon walk, we would love to help you with that as well. Jocelyn is truly amazing. Peace of mind and ease while leaving our fur baby in her hands. She took great care of our Nutmeg and our home while we were away. Our house was cleaner than we left it and our girl was super happy! Jocelyn is very trustworthy, kind, and honest. You know how hard it is to leave your pet when you travel, and having someone like Jocelyn takes a HUGE load off. Our dog loves her too, She even gets excited when she sees a car that looks like Jocelyn’s! Definitely our go-to for pet sitting.
Jocelyn took such amazing care of our Nutmeg!!! She is a kind and wonderful person and gave us the piece of mind knowing our pup was well taken care of. Nutmeg is very timid but warmed right up to Jocelyn, you can just tell she is experienced and caring with animals. She went above and beyond caring for our dog and our home and was a joy to have dog-sit. We’ve already booked another stay!! Thank you Jocelyn!!!!!

Schedule
I work daily from 6 AM until 2:30 PM so I have availability on the weekends, some holidays and during the afternoons after 3:00 PM.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large backyard and usually use a long lead for our visitor dogs as our yard is not fully fenced. Our neighborhood is also very dog walk friendly!

A typical day
We live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks --- perfect for dog walking! Our backyard is large and a great place to play ball or Frisbee.
