Hi, I’m Jocelyn! I grew up with a Jack Russell/terrier mix who has been part of our family for 12 years, so dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a teenager. I’m also a proud cat mom of two, and between my sisters’ cats (an orange tabby duo!) and my own, I’m very comfortable with feline personalities too. My pet care experience includes caring for my husband’s senior, blind family dog — so I’m confident with pets who need a little extra patience and gentle handling — as well as care for different breeds of dogs and cats from friends to coworkers! I bring the same reliability from my years in customer service and hospitality: I show up on time, communicate clearly, and treat every fur baby like they’re my own. What sets me apart: I love photography and videography, so every walk or visit comes with photo and video updates of your fur babies having a great time — not just a quick “all good!” text. You’ll actually get to see the tail wags. I’m also an active person myself — I run, hike, and play tennis — I’m happy to give high-energy dogs the exercise they need! In my own home, my boys have consistent routines — regular feeding times, fresh filtered water, clean litter areas, and daily play and enrichment. I keep a calm, safe environment and give plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day, not just at scheduled check-ins. In a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their pet’s existing routine exactly as-is — same feeding schedule, same food, same walk times — since consistency matters most for pets in an unfamiliar situation (or even a familiar one with their person away). I treat the home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own space: doors/gates secured, messes cleaned up, and everything left exactly as I found it. And of course, you’ll get photo/video updates throughout so you can see your pet is happy and comfortable the whole time! (:

Jocelyn has been absolutely wonderful caring for our blind dog, Duncan. Caring for a dog with special needs takes real patience and attentiveness, and Jocelyn brings both in spades. She understands how to guide him gently, keep him safe in unfamiliar spaces, and make sure he still gets to enjoy his walks and playtime with confidence. She also sends frequent photos and updates from their daily adventures together, which puts our minds completely at ease while we're away. We always come home to a calm, happy, well-cared-for pup, and we never worry when he's in her care. Jocelyn communicates well, is completely reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. We recommend her highly to anyone looking for a compassionate, responsible pet sitter.
She’s the type of person who will treat your dog like it’s her own, probably give it more attention than you do, send you updates and pictures, and somehow become your dog’s new favorite person by the time you get home. She’s patient, attentive, and takes things seriously when it matters. Your dog will be safe, loved, walked, spoiled, and possibly emotionally devastated when she leaves. 10/10 would trust her with any dog. Your only risk is your dog liking her more than you.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine right now since I have a flexible schedule with plenty of daytime availability. I’m an active person — I work out, walk, and spend time outdoors regularly — so incorporating walks or visits into my day feels like a natural extension of how I already live, not an extra chore. I also have two cats of my own, so daily feeding, litter care, and playtime are already part of my everyday rhythm!
