Drop-ins: I will explicitly follow your instructions for potty breaks/litter box, food/drink, medication, play, entry/exit instructions, etc. Need packages brought in or plants watered? I do that too. Drop-ins are a 30 minute window, so I will stay for the full 30 minutes to keep your pet company and do everything you'd normally do so that your pet is not stressed. House sitting: I will stay overnight with your pet per your instructions, with regular drop-ins during the day (we will discuss exactly how often I need to visit per your pets needs). I will explicitly follow your instructions for potty breaks/litter box, food/drink, medication, play, entry/exit instructions, etc. Need packages brought in or plants watered? I do that too. This is the most comforting option for many pets as they spend the least time alone while you're away and it's the least amount of change for them. If your pet is more scared of strangers or antisocial, it may be better to just schedule drop-ins if they'd feel less comfortable with me in the house.

Information Jocelyn A. would like to know about your pet

I prefer to schedule meet and greets (~15 min) if I get enough notice. The purposes of a meet and greet are most importantly for you to give me care instructions and expectations, and to allow me to ask clarifying questions. Please leave specific instructions for entry/exit access, feeding schedules, suggested times for potty breaks, bedtime routines, etc. Let me know if your pet has any special needs, behaviors, habits, or rules that I should be aware of. It is also important so that your pet can meet me with you present so that when I show up during a visit I'm not a random stranger to them. Finally, meet and greets are also for you to get a chance to meet me and trust the person you are leaving your pet with. If it is a short notice booking or we aren't available at the same time for an in-person meet and greet, I will request a video call or phone call to go over your pet. I will send you as many pictures and video updates as you’d like while you’re away (whether that is every visit, once a day, etc). Thank you for reading, looking forward to meeting your beloved pets!

A typical day

When I visit your pet, first thing will be greeting them and making sure they're comfortable. Then I follow any feeding or potty schedule. After business is done, if your pet is playful I would love to give them some exercise to release extra energy. Please show me or leave instructions for any of your pet's favorite toys or treats. Finally, I like to end my visits by just keeping your pet company with pets, cuddles, or just being in the same room with them so they don't feel alone.

Pet care experience

There are 3 things that set me apart from other sitters: 1. My genuine love for animals. I am not doing this as a job; this is my side hobby that I carve out time for to feel fulfilled in interacting with dogs and cats. 2. My communication skills. When you book with me, I am available to quickly respond to all questions. You won't be away wondering how your pet is doing - you'll have pictures of them and updates from me. 3. My 100% 5-star rating. Rover sitters can not alter or hide profile reviews, and they speak for themselves.

Jocelyn is fantastic! I was in a tough spot and she was able to help me out in very little notice. Very attentive to the dogs. Highly recommend!
