Loving, reliable care!
I've spent years caring for dogs through fostering, and pet-sitting for friends, family, and neighbours. I have experience with dogs of various sizes, breeds, personalities, and support needs, including senior dogs and those with disabilities. My partner and I also recently cared for a diabetic cat over several months, giving us experience following medication schedules and providing attentive care for pets with specific health requirements. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with family dogs and have continued caring for pets throughout adulthood. While I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to pet care, and I'd be happy to provide testimonials from previous pet owners if that helps ease your mind! I really enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away!

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our 1-year-old dachshund while we were away for 10 days. Joceline was incredibly caring, reliable, and attentive, giving us complete peace of mind throughout our trip. She kept us updated with messages and photos, and it was clear our pup was happy, comfortable, and well-loved in her care. We came home to a relaxed, healthy dog and are so grateful for the wonderful care Joceline provided. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!
Joceline has taken care of our dog Cody many times. Cody is a small mixed terrier, he is a rescue and so is very reactive and needs lots of attention. He also has a small disability that requires his caretaker to make some accomodations for him. We routinely use Joceline to take care of Cody and have been very pleased and impressed with her level of care. Joceline is a very generous and empathic person who clearly cares a lot about animals. She is very patient and calm and seems able to figure out just what Cody needs and when he needs it. Joceline is easy to communicate with and very responsible and conscientious. I would highly recommend Joceline to take care of your pet.
I had a wonderful experience with Joceline! You can tell how much she enjoys spending time with and caring for dogs, and she treated mine as if he were her own. She was great with communication and provided regular updates and photos which gave me peace of mind. Ollie was spoiled and came home very happy from his time with her, so we couldn't recommend Joceline more!
Joceline is an amazing person. She is thoughtful and conscientious and so caring. She has looked after my 16 year old diabetic cat for two winters. She is skilled at administering needles and oral medication for my cat Lucy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joceline to look after your pet.
Joceline has cared for my dogs on several occasions and provided a safe and caring environment for them. She loves dogs and has also fostered two dogs in the past, and treated them as her own. Additionally, she has cared for my friend's elderly diabetic cat on several occasions and took on the additional responsibility of giving the cat her medication twice a day at the prescribed times. I highly recommend Joceline as a thoughtful, kind and dependable pet sitter.

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet sitting throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. Your pet will receive lots of attention and will rarely be left alone! Please note: I will be unavailable from July 14–31 due to travel.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently don't have any pets of my own, which allows me to focus entirely on the pets in my care! I live in a spacious, pet-friendly apartment with a patio and easy access to parks, walking trails, and Penticton's dog-friendly beach areas. I'll be happy to stick to the schedule that your pets are familiar with (for example, if you let them on furniture, they'll be welcome on my furniture, if they usually sleep in a crate overnight, they'll do the same at my place, if they aren’t comfortable around other animals, I’m happy to accommodate that). Whether your pet loves outdoor adventures, relaxed walks, or plenty of cuddle time at home, I'll tailor their care to what makes them happiest!
A typical day
I live in an accessible neighbourhood with easy access to parks, beaches, hikes, and plenty of rural areas to walk, so there are lots of opportunities for fun adventures! We'll spend time playing with toys, and, if you're comfortable with it, there are lots of safe off-leash areas we can visit. We can also have plenty of cuddle time, if that's more your dog's speed!
