A little about me: I’m a mom of two (a teenager and a preteen) and have two sweet female dogs of my own, a Bichon/Shih Tzu mix and a Havanese, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I work full time (in office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays), and I’m offering pet care as a side business because I genuinely love it. I’ve cared for many pets for friends and family over the years, and now I’m excited to extend that care to you and your furry (or feathered!) family members. If you have any questions about my availability, even if my calendar says I may or may not be available, please don't hesitate to reach out. With advance notice, I'm often able to be flexible and accommodate your scheduling needs.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved whether they’re in my home or theirs. In my home, I provide a clean, cozy, and calm environment. I live in an elevator building, and while I don’t have a yard, I do have access to several parks just minutes away, so your pup will still get plenty of fresh air, walks, and exercise. I stick closely to your pet’s routine (feeding schedules, walk times, playtime, and rest) so they feel right at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep everything as consistent as possible in their familiar environment. I follow all instructions carefully as long as you clearly communicate with me and make sure your pet gets the same level of attention, affection, and care they’re used to. Please let me know if your pup is crate trained or requires crating at certain times, as well as any special requests or preferences. If your pet needs medication, I’m more than happy to administer it as directed. Clear communication is very important to me, so I’ll always make sure I understand your pet’s needs fully. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring, reliable hands.

Information Joceline I. would like to know about your pet

It’s important for me to know a few things about your pet ahead of time so I can provide the best care possible. If your dog will be staying in my home, I do ask that they are comfortable around older kids and friendly with other dogs. If your pup isn’t, no worries, we can absolutely talk through it and see if we can come up with a plan that works for both of us. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’m very flexible and experienced with all types of personalities and needs. Whether your dog is shy, reactive, special needs, or just has their own quirks, I’m more than happy to work with them and make sure they feel safe and cared for. The more details you can share about your pet’s routine, behavior, and preferences, the better I can tailor my care to keep them happy and comfortable while respecting their boundaries! As I mentioned before, I work full time on a hybrid schedule, with my in office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If your pup needs care on one of those days, please reach out about two weeks in advance. With enough notice, I can often adjust my schedule and make it work.

A typical day

I love making sure every pet in my care is not only safe and comfortable, but also having a great time! I like to keep things fun and engaging by taking pups on walks to nearby parks, exploring new sights and smells, and even bringing them along to pet friendly events when appropriate. I also focus a lot on mental stimulation. Things like interactive dog puzzles, enrichment toys, and games that keep them happy and mentally active. For social pups, I enjoy visits to dog parks where they can safely play and burn off energy. Whether it’s a relaxing walk, playtime, or brain games, I always tailor activities to your pet’s personality, energy level, and needs to make sure they’re happy, stimulated, and well cared for.

Pet care experience

Hi there, I'm Jocie'! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has been surrounded by pets (especially dogs) since I was a little girl. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something that’s always been part of who I am. I have hands on experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities, including pit bulls, rottweilers, basset hounds, beagles, golden retrievers, senior dogs, resscue mixes, etc. I understand that every pet has their own unique needs, whether it’s high energy playtime, gentle senior care, or a little extra patience and love. I’ve also cared for birds and truly enjoy learning about different types of animals. While I don’t have as much experience with cats, I absolutely adore them and am more than happy to care for yours. Just share your detailed instructions, and I will follow them closely to make sure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and loved. If you have any questions or special requests, feel free to reach out, I'd love to help! If the date you had in mind is not available, please feel free to reach out. With advance notice, I may be able to accommodate your request😊💖

Joceline or as I like to call her, Josie, has cared for my cat and two dogs for the past five years. She has cared for them in my home as well as her own home. My pets are always well cared for, loved and come home happy. She follows every instruction to a T especially since I have a senior cat that needs medication. She keeps me posted with texts and pictures which gives me peace. Josie truly goes above and beyond and I couldn’t recommend her more.

I wouldn't trust my pets with anyone else. There's just something about Joceline that animals naturally gravitate toward. She has cared for my dog and bird for the past 10 years, and she's the only person I completely trust with my pets. I definitely recommend her. You will not be disappointed!

I hadn't used Rover in a long time and I'm so glad I did. Joceline was amazing with my doggie! You can tell she has a lot of experience and genuinely loves what she does. She sent me videos and pictures throughout the stay and my Stormi looked so comfortable and happy with her and her children. I'm so glad I came across her and will definitely be booking with her again and again. Highly recommend!
