I’ve always loved being around animals and caring for pets has been a big part of my life for many years. Over the past few years, I’ve gained hands on experience pet sitting for families while they travel, including longer stays where I’m fully responsible for daily routines, feeding, walks, playtime and general wellbeing. I’ve looked after a variety of pets with different personalities and needs — from confident, energetic animals to more nervous or independent ones. I’m patient, calm and attentive, and I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine so they feel safe and settled in my care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure owners feel completely at ease while they’re away, with regular updates and photos if requested.

I always aim to provide a calm, safe and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and well cared for. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in an owner’s home, I make sure routines are followed closely and that each pet’s individual needs and boundaries are respected. In my home, pets have a secure, relaxed space with access to a large garden for fresh air and play (always supervised and in line with owner instructions). I also live very close to a variety of walking routes, which means I can tailor walks to suit different energy levels - from short, gentle strolls to longer, more active walks. I have a friendly cat at home who spends much of their time outdoors or visiting a neighbour, so I’m mindful of introductions and always prioritise safety and comfort. I would only care for pets in my home if they are happy around cats and if owners are fully comfortable with the setup. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I treat the space with complete respect and make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind.

Schedule
At the moment, I have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. While I’m currently looking for a more permanent role in animal care, pet sitting fits perfectly into my daily routine and allows me to focus fully on looking after pets. I’m available throughout the day for feeding, walks, playtime, companionship and check ins, and I can easily adapt my schedule to suit each pet’s needs and routine.
