I was a qualified veterinary nurse for over 16 years. I absolutely love all animals. I have had experience with all breeds of dogs. I am very use to giving medication etc if this is required.

Joanne was excellent & we felt completely at ease leaving Hamish with her for the night. She kept us updated throughout the stay with messages & pictures. He came home exhausted which is definitely a sign of a good stay. We will definitely look to use Joanne again in the future.
Such a great experience of leaving my boy Lochie with Joanne at short notice. He was warmly welcomed into the home but the family and I felt very reassured and content knowing he would be well looked after. Received regular update and photos of his time and highly recommend!

Joanne was fantastic from start to finish. Her communication was excellent both before the booking and throughout the stay, which gave me real peace of mind. During the stay, my dog unfortunately hurt her paw. This was completely not Joanne’s fault—she’s a very lively young springer spaniel who can be quite excitable on walks and has always been a bit accident-prone, so I wasn’t surprised. Joanne handled the situation brilliantly: she contacted me straight away, bandaged the paw, and checked whether I wanted her to take my dog to the vet. On top of that, Joanne and her son even managed to get my dog to go swimming on a day out by the river—something I haven’t been able to achieve in five years! It really sounds like my dog made a new best friend. I would highly recommend Joanne and will definitely be booking with her again.
We left our nine-month staffy Islay overnight with Jo and she had a fantastic time. I was a bit nervous to leave her but Jo was incredibly kind. A few days beforehand she met us for a walk to see how Islay is getting on with everyone. Islay absolutely adored staying overnight with Jo’s family and her dog. She had a blast playing and getting all the attention. They even included Islay in their weekend plans and she spent loads of time outdoors with the whole family. I received regular updates from Jo and I felt so relaxed knowing she was happy and enjoying herself. I’ll definitely be leaving Islay with Jo again in the future. This was such a positive experience and I’m thoroughly happy. I can’t recommend Jo and her family highly enough.

Schedule
I currently work full time but this is only term time so I get a lot of time off to enjoy the holiday breaks. I am available to look after your dog in the 6 weeks holiday, half term and weekends.

I have a large completely fenced garden with a good size house . We live very close to a nature reserve , the new forest and within driving distance of the beach . As a family we enjoy being out and about . Both my children also have taken on my love for dogs .
