I love taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood. Have an adventurous dog (or dogs) with a lot of energy? Perhaps I can take your dog on a nearby hike. (I’ve even taken a friend and her dog on a kayaking excursion!) I’ve been walking family dogs since I was young, including Golden Retrievers, Cockapoos, and Terriers. I have befriended several friends’ Pitbulls and Rottweilers. My husband and I have rescued an older cat who didn’t like anyone, but he has since really warmed up to us. (It’s because my cat doesn’t feel like being an Adventure Cat that’s causing me to look for neighborhood dogs who I can get to know and spend some time with.) I always bring doggy essentials, including doggy bags, water bowl, and a large bottle of water. If you want me to bring my own leash I can. If you want me to bring extra toys -like tennis balls - I can. Whatever your pet(s) needs or prefers. I’m happy to take photos during the walk and to follow whatever instructions you provide to promote the health of your dog(s).
