Hi there! I’m Joanne and I’m a lifelong dog lover and experienced caregiver! I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. Although I don’t have a dog of my own right now, I’d be thrilled to care for your fur babies and make them feel right at home. I know the joy and companionship dogs bring, having shared 17 wonderful years with my own dog who was my loyal friend and family. Since he crossed the rainbow bridge, I haven’t been able to bring myself to get another, but I’d love the chance to give all that love and attention to your pup. I understand each dog has their own personality and needs, and I’m committed to giving them the best care, with plenty of attention, affection, and fun. I’m responsible, reliable, and will keep you updated, so you’ll have peace of mind while you’re away. Let me provide a safe, happy experience for your furry family member!

Our dog, Lucky, had a great time with Joanne and her family while we spent the day at Katmai National Park. It was a relief to know Lucky was well taken care of while we were on our excursion. Lucky got to play in the back yard, go for walks, and relax in their home. I recommend Joanne to anyone needing a dog sitter!
What a great experience we had with Joanne. Her & her husband made us feel so welcomed. Pumpkin was loved on and cared for as if she was their family dog. If you are in Anchorage and need a dog sitter I highly recommend Joanne.
10/10 would highly recommend - she will treat them like her own. I wasn’t even sure they wanted to come home after my trip. Will be booking with Joanne in the future for sure.
Joanne is amazing!! Bentley loves going over to their home and hang out with them. She sends me pictures and keeps me updated through out the day. He is always excited when he sees her and her family.
Joanne and her family are incredibly sweet and caring. I felt 100% comfortable leaving our pooch with her and hope you do too!

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my routine, as I’m flexible with my time except Monday. After dropping my kiddo off at school, I’m available most of the day to focus on your furry friend. Whether your dog needs a midday walk, some playtime, or a cozy companion to keep them company, I’m here to give them all the attention and care they need!

I provide pet care in my home where your dog will be safe and comfortable. My house has a fenced yard, perfect for secure outdoor play and I’m close to Balto Park and Arctic/Benson Park, where I’d love to take your dog for walks and playtime. I’ll ensure they feel at home, with plenty of love, attention, and exercise to keep them happy and well-cared for.
A typical day
A typical day with me starts with a warm welcome and some cuddle time to make your fur baby feel right at home. In the morning, we’ll head outside for a refreshing walk around the neighborhood or a trip to nearby Balto or Arctic/Benson Park, where we can explore, play fetch, and stretch those legs. Afterward, we’ll have some downtime with plenty of belly rubs and attention, letting them relax and feel comfortable. In the afternoon, we’ll have another play session in the fenced yard, where they can safely roam and burn off energy. I keep the day filled with love, play, and companionship so your furry friend feels happy and engaged until you return!
