I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I know how stressful it can be to ensure a routine is kept. Pet first aid and CPR certified.

At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

Joanne N. is kind, empathetic, reliable, and loves animals. And my dogs are good judges of character! They are excited to see her when she arrives. It is a big deal to have someone stay over in your house, and also to trust with your pets –it is a relief to know I have someone I can count on who loves my dogs when I need to go out of town. And our dogs love her, so I don’t have any worries to be away, and we love the cute photos of them she sends us. She is the best, and I give her my highest recommendation!
Joanne stayed with our senior dog and our teenager for a long weekend and everyone had a great experience! She is super-great with details and handled the dog's medical and dietary needs like a pro and was a reassuring presence for our teen, who was mostly, but not entirely independent yet. We really appreciated her clear communication, affection for the dog, and appreciation for the teen's quirks and interests. Anyone would be lucky to have Joanne looking after their pet and/or home!

Schedule
I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away.
