I am retired and have been a cat owner for over 30 years and absolutely love sharing my home with them. I have experience with cats with different personalities.My cats have been both indoor and indoor/outdoor types. I am gentle with their care by maintaining a clean litter box, providing nutritious wet and dry food plus fresh water and clean food dishes on a daily basis. Play time with toys is always fun and they get their exercise too. My two females,Turbo and Maxie lived happily with me for 16 years. Maxie was abandoned and pregnant when my late husband found her. She gave birth to her 4 kittens at home. Maxie had a second litter of 8 within a year. It was very interesting and fun to help her care for her kittens. After they peed into a large towel, the towel was immediately laundered with bleach and dried. After the kittens were weaned and reached a healthy weight, they were surrendered to Lollypop Farm, a local animal shelter for adoption. I fostered 2 cats for a short time while living in Medina, NY. When I lived in Greece, NY I provided cat sitting services for my neighbor's 2 indoor cats In March 2022, I adopted a three year 3 month old handsome male from Lollypop Farm. Shadow is my second male cat with a very unique personality. He demands to be fed morning and evening by loudly squawking like a parrot. Shadow communicates with me with a wide variety of "squawks". I'm learning a whole new language! He is an extremely affectionate "love bug". As an indoor cat, he enjoys perching on the back of my loveseat to watch birds and wind swept leaves.Bees and butterflies that hover over my butterfly bush in the summer excite him. Animal programs on TV mesmerize him. He swats at the screen especially when birds are in flight. He is the first of my cats to have a scratching pad that I sprinkle with catnip. Loves to rub himself and scratch his claws on the pungent pad. At 5 years old and counting, Shadow is a "kid at heart". I would care for your cats as if they were my own.
