Im a caring dog lover of all breeds
I am a dog owner who loves all breeds of dogs! Over my life I’ve had a Siberian Husky, a Lab, Samoyed, Westies and dachshunds. I’ve loved having many different breeds stay with me and my dogs, Gretl and Daphne. I have experience with dogs of all ages. I treat my clients and their dogs as my Rover family. I have formed bonds and long-lasting relationships with owners and their dogs through trust and the knowledge that I truly love all the dogs in my care. Because of that trust, I’ve had dogs stay with me for as long as a month. I am 100% committed to the safety of the dogs in my care. I have a large, fenced in yard. The dogs get a lot of exercise and fresh air in the safety of my yard WITH ME watching over them. You can feel secure knowing that your pup won’t be running free without the safety of a fence. I also use gates in the house so your dog doesn’t have access to a door leading out to a unsecured perimeter. I am home all day--this is a full-time job for me. The dogs LOVE playing together and I love spending time with dogs so it's a win-win! Your dog will never be left alone outside without my supervision. If I need to leave the house I always separate dogs from different families. For those dogs who don't want to play, I can easily separate them but keep them where they can watch all the activity with me. I will give them all the love and attention that I give my own dogs. They will receive non-stop play and cuddle time! Assuring your dog's safety and happiness is always my priority. I will follow your instructions so nobody goes home with habits you'd rather discourage. You can rest assured that your dog's tail will be wagging when you pick them up AND drop them off! In order to make sure everyone is in a safe environment, I require a copy of your dog's current vaccines. I require that your dog is vaccinated for kennel cough. I will need to know how your dog interacts with other dogs and people--your honesty will help keep everyone safe! I will never crate your dog unless you request it--I have a variety of crate sizes just in case. Please bring your dog's food as keeping your dog on their usual diet is important to keep their stomach settled. I do not believe in over-feeding of treats as this spoils appetites and unsettles stomachs. I LOVE what I do! Unlike a regular boarding facility, I do not charge for "extras" such as texts, pictures or extra playtime.I am flexible on drop off and pick up times within reason. Your dog will have the run of my house as long as they are housebroken (accidents happen so no worries). I hope you've gotten a good feel for the kind of experience your dog will have, but if you have any questions I haven't covered please feel free to contact me! I look forward to meeting you and your dog!!! I welcome and encourage a meet and greet. Please understand that all meet and greets are outdoors. This will make your dog feel more at ease and give them a positive feeling. For the safety of the other dogs in my care, I do not bring anyone inside during the meet and greet. Please read my reviews and rest assured that I only have everyone’s safety in mind. I take great care in introducing guests to each other when they come to stay so it will be as stress-free as possible. I also ask that the meet and greet be no longer than 1/2 hour so I can attend to the dogs in my care, who are always my number one priority just as your dog will be! Please note**I am taking male dogs at my discretion…I’ve had a problem with them marking in my home**

Joanne always goes above and beyond taking care of Suki. She is so communicative and will send daily pictures of our pup, sometimes even more! There is no one I’d rather leave Suki with, she arrives overjoyed to see Joanne and leaves tired but so happy. Thank you for being so attentive!!

Another great stay at camp Joanne! Thanks for always taking such great care of Kai. She slept the entire trip home. Good tired 🥰. She definitely misses her doggie friends.
I always leave my puppy with Joanne as there is no one I trust more to take good care of her. Suki is always overjoyed seeing Joanne, and Joanne always takes such good care of Suki. I appreciate her and her husband more than words can express!!
We know our little pup is always in the best care every time he stays with Joanne. He runs to her door and is all tails wagging. She gives us daily updates and photos which mean the world.
Another wonderful stay for our baby girl! She always looks forward to Camp Joann. She enjoys all the friends she makes while visiting.

Schedule
this is a full-time job for me! I am outdoors with them; I won’t put them outside without my supervision. I separate dogs from different families if I have to go out. Although my pictures may show large dogs from the past I no longer take new dogs over 40lbs.

I have a fully fenced-in yard for your dog’s safety. They get a lot of exercise in my yard. We spend a lot of time outdoors weather-permitting.

A typical day
We spend as much time as possible outside TOGETHER. The dogs all enjoy playing outside in my fenced yard. I fill up a kiddie pool when it is hot outside which is alot of fun and a great way for them to cool down! I have plenty of shade for those who don't like the water. We play fetch together or some just like to sit on the deck and see what's going on! After dinner we go out again for more playtime and by the time we go inside everyone is tired and happy to settle down!
