Let me know if your dog(s) or cat(s) have any special needs or behaviors I can account for. I have an animal sheltering background so definitely have a soft spot for the rescue pups!

I have taught dog training classes on a part-time basis so know the importance of both mental and physical stimulation. We’ll go on some walks, play a little ball, and unwind with lots of belly rubs!

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Joanne and I look forward to providing exceptional care for your furry friends! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and 20 years of relevant animal care and nursing experience. Through my vet tech training, I am able and willing to administer meds, including insulin and subcutaneous fluids, at no additional cost to your dog(s)/cat(s)/other animals, as needed. I am a former dog trainer, certified through Petsmart, and taught part-time there for two years, where I worked with a variety of dog personality types, including shy and reactive dogs. I also have large animal experience, including horses, goats, chickens, pigs, and sheep, and am available for farm sitting, on an as-needed basis. If you have any additional questions about my background/experience, don't hesitate to reach out! Thank you for considering me and I look forward to hearing from you! ~ Joanne
Reviews

Duke and i just started working with Joanne and she has been great. Highly recommended. She is great with my bulldog duke and everything has been smooth

Joanne took our two very big dogs for a week while we were out of town, and we never worried a bit that they were in good hands! I am also very thankful for her flexibility toward the end of the stay, when we had to change our travel plans due to extreme weather. Thank you, Joanne!

Joanne was a fantastic sitter for Bella and Pearl for their first long board stay. She was communicative and so sweet and kind from start to finish. The girls seemed to have enjoyed themselves and we are grateful Joanne and her husband enjoyed watching them too. If you want a sitter that’s communicative and a kind human as well, go for Joanne! She eased our worries for our first long board stay for the pups.

Joanne is absolutely wonderful. She's very responsive, sends pictures, ask questions, very accommodating & just truly a sweetie pie. I'll book Joanne again, 100x over.
