Working from home full time means your dog has access to a human companion and access to the yard all day. Walks will occur at the beginning and end of day. Outings to parks will happen on the weekends. Your dog will have free access to a securely fenced yard, a deck for sun bathing and take as many potty breaks outdoors as they need. Dogs need to be 100% trained to go outdoors. We do not accommodate indoor bathroom habits.

Pet care experience
We are small dog people. We do our best to connect with each dog we care for. We have 15+ years experience caring for small animals. Our dog Lily is a chihuahua mix, to match her preferences, we only take small dogs who are spayed or neutered. Small dogs have unique behavioural patterns and needs which fit right in with our household. We set our maximum capacity at 1-2 dogs, so your dog will feel like they are at home, not a doggie hotel. Dogs who stay with us (even anxious ones) integrate and become part of the family within a few days. Our minimum expectation for all dogs is that they are fully trained to go to the bathroom outdoors 100% of the time. No exceptions. Not even occasional pee pads at home.
Reviews

Joanna and Glenn took excellent care of Bo. They sent photos and updates daily. We would recommend them to anyone.

Joanne, Glenn and their daughter went above and beyond giving our Maltese the ultimate vacation while we were away. The many photos and videos they sent showed he was relaxed and loving all the attention they showered on him, including playing lots of fetch in their fenced backyard, cuddles on the couch and sleeping with them. They took Milo for regular walks with their friendly dog Lily, and even to the beach after which Joanne bathed and brushed him. When we arrived for pick-up, Milo just wanted to continue playing in the environment he obviously felt so comfortable. Thank you so much for your wonderful care!
Our dog Piper had a really good time with Joanne and Glenn. She loved playing with their dog and being around them. It’s rare to see our dog missing others and that speaks to how much she loved being there.

Lulu had a great experience with Joanne and Glenn. I think she had her own version of a holiday with them as she probably had more attention and adventures with them during her 3 week stay than she would with us! Lulu was well loved and cared for in this family setting. I really appreciate that she was allowed to sleep in the bed, as this is what she is used to with us. Lulu also got along well with Lily (the family dog) and I'm sure she would love a repeat stay!
