I love animals- I grew up with a cat who lived to 24 years old and as an adult I had a terrier mix who lived to 15. I now have an energetic 4 year old Jack Russell terrier mix who I share with my mom. Over the years I have dog and cat sat for friends, family members, colleagues, and neighbors, both in my home and in theirs. For dog boarding: I only like to take care of one pet at a time so your dog will have individualized attention along with my own dog, Benji. Between my semi-retired mom and I, one of us will be at home at all times with your pup- he/she will never need to be alone. Please contact me for a short meet and greet- Benji and I are happy to meet you and your pet to make sure we are a good fit!

Joanne is wonderful! Our dog enjoyed daily walks and playtime with her sweet dog, Benji, and was well taken care of when we went away for a 12 day vacation. She is a great communicator with updates on his eating, demeanor and activities as well as some cute pictures. It felt really good to pick up a happy dog when we returned. Thank you, Joanne!

This was our first Rover experience and I’m so glad we went with Joanne! She was kind, prompt with communication, and very accommodating. Our little Cavalier, Cali, had an incredible two weeks with Joanne while we were in Italy. Joanne and her mom, Lee, are such warm caretakers. We felt confident in leaving our pup after meeting them. Joanne has a wonderful home in Walnut Creek with a spacious, fenced yard. Her little dog, Benji, is so sweet and friendly with other dogs. Throughout our vacation, Joanne kept in great touch and shared updates. I could tell from the updates that our pup was getting so much exercise from walks and plenty of attention. Schedule
I work remotely in the biotech field and my schedule allows me time at home to spend with Benji and Rover pets. Between my semi-retired mom and I, someone is always home 24 hours a day and your pet will never be home alone. We are up by 7am, take a long walk in the morning, then have play time (or rest, depending on your dog!) in my large, fenced in backyard, and another long walk around 6pm. Bedtime is about 10pm. I'm happy to accommodate feeding times to your dog's normal schedule and totally fine with dogs who are both crated or uncrated at night.

I'm happy to take your dog on long walks around the neighborhood. We have lots of dog toys and your dog would be welcome to join in in playing fetch or other games in our yard!
