I have been surrounded by dogs , cats and other pets all my life. For nearly 30 years I have owned retired greyhounds and whippets as well as cats and chickens. As well as my own pets I have also boarded dogs for friends and family. I have experience of both puppies and elderly pets requiring extra care or medication to be administered. I am also no stranger to sharing the bed with a furry four footed companion! Having recently lost my own elderly whippet I can offer a pet free house ideal for pets who may need somewhere a little quieter or are not used to living with other animals. I can also provide boarding for multiple pets from the same household.

Never used Rover before so it's very worried and scared BUT..... wow hundred percent this lady went above and beyond. We had updates every day and pictures, my kids loved that, Lovely walks every day! What I loved was I could chose my pick up and drop-up time around my Holiday 100 recommend! We have already rebooked for next year!! Thank you so much for looking after our dog
Rusty had a lovely stay with Joanne. Such a peaceful home with ideal country walks. Joanne kept us worry free with updates and photos throughout Rusty's stay. Thank you! I highly recommend and we will definitely be booking again 😊
Jo made us all feel welcome in her home, floss and Holte were very relaxed like they were at home from home. Fantastic communication (daily) and all the photos of the dogs looked like they were living their best life, to the point I'm not sure they wanted to come home 😂 thank you so much for loving (so much more than looking) after them both, you really do above and beyond. We will definitely book with you again. Highly recommend!! 💞

We can't praise Joanne enough for the way she looked after Smithy for us. We instantly booked him in with her again. She provided regular updates to with pictures & a short video of him playing happily in her home. We highly recommend her for dog care.
I have known Jo Evans all my life and I can honestly say you would be hard pushed to find a better person to trust with your dog. Jo is one of the kindest, most caring people I know and her love for dogs has always been such a big part of who she is. She has had dogs for as long as I can remember, most recently her beloved dog Dave, who sadly passed away from old age. Dave had the most wonderful life with Jo, full of love, care and endless attention, which is exactly what any dog in her care can expect. Jo has looked after my own dogs over the years. She helped care for my dog Molly, who is no longer with us and more recently she has looked after Bella, who absolutely loves staying with her auntie Jo. Bella is always so happy and relaxed there, which speaks volumes. I have complete peace of mind knowing she’s in such safe and capable hands. Jo lives in the perfect location for long, enjoyable dog walks and provides a safe, secure and loving home environment. She treats every dog as if they were her own and gives them the same patience, affection and attention she has always shown her own pets. If you’re looking for someone reliable, experienced and genuinely devoted to dogs, I cannot recommend Jo highly enough. Any dog would be lucky to spend time in her care.

Schedule
I am a full time for caregiver for my disabled husband so I am at home all day. No animals would be left unattended for more than 30mins.

I have a secure fenced garden and can offer long country walks or simply a comfy spot in front of the fire. Your pet would be the only boarder at the time meaning that I can can accommodate their needs and stick to there usual routines as much as possible.
