I have had pets my whole life: reptiles, birds, mammals and fish. I currently have one cat. I have experience giving oral medicine and under the skin fluids to senior cats, inhaler to a cat, and insulin to a dog. I have completed on line classes in pet training and sitting (care), dog walking, animal first aid, preventing and stopping dog fights, canine aggression, dealing with pet loss, preventing pet escape, disaster preparedness for pet care professionals and animal psychology. I am a member of Pet Sitters International. I am bonded and insured. My daughter is a vet technician . This is my only job, so I have flexible availability. I have a car to come to your house. I will provide service in the pet's home where the pet feels most comfortable. I am able to play with pets, provide medicines, feed and water, give baths, brush fur and walk animals. I can provide transportation to and from the vet's office.

Joanne was very conscientious and goes the extra mile to ensure our chickens were well cared for, regardless of the cold, winter Fairbanks temps!
Joanne did a fantastic job going above & beyond to care for my chickens in their outdoor coop & my home through the extreme Fairbanks cold with temps down to -50F. She was resourceful, very dependable & kept my chickens & house very well cared for. I’d have her back anytime!
