I have a very flexible work schedule as I own and run my own business, I can be available with very little notice to care for your babies. Schedules can be worked around your animals needs.

I currently don't have any children or pets in my home. I would also only host one pet family at a time in my home. After recently caring for my latest dog who had many health issues, I'm very familiar with "older" pets and their special needs, as well as the new babies, with that being said every animal is different and needs would be discussed on an individual basis.

I would like to know if they have any special eating needs, whether they are on meds, and if they have nervous triggers (such as fireworks or thunderstorms). Also regular sleeping routines, I would like to stick to their daily schedule so they aren't as stressed when Mom or Dad leaves.

I think physical is exercise is important for both pet and human. I have tons of energy and love hiking and walking. Your furry friend will be nice and tired at the end of the day.

I have taken care of all different animals since I was 10,Ones with fur and ones without. I have volunteered at shelters and worked for 7 years at a Vet Clinic. I have had animals all my life. I love all animals of any size, not afraid of the big guys either. I have raised animals from birth till they found the rainbow bridge. I find it is most important that the animal feels safe and secure when in my care whether that be in their home or mine. I lost both of my cats in the past 2 years and my 14yr old rescue pup less then a year ago. I miss having a furry companion around and feel like this opportunity would fill that void for me and the pets I watch who are missing their family. I'm an avid hiker and love being outdoors regardless of the weather. Your pet will never be bored :)

Joanne was kind and compassionate with our big old guy!!
JoAnne is a quick study and expertly navigated her way around the quirks of each animal! This is our first experience with her, and we returned from our trip to happy, healthy babies. We appreciated her brief, daily updates and look forward to working with JoAnne again for future coverage!
It was a pleasure to have JoAnne watch our girl while we were away! We loved the frequent updates and came home to a very happy pup. Will definitely book again!
