I honestly can’t recommend Joanna enough! From the moment she and her two children met Bluebell, the dachshund, they all adored one another. They spent ages playing together in the field with a blue ball, running up and down, laughing and enjoying every minute. It was so rewarding to watch. The children were so natural with Bluebell and so free around him, and Bluebell was exactly the same with them. You could see Bluebell was literally smiling, stretching his mouth into what looked like a smile, and he seemed so happy to be with them. They communicated with him so naturally and so lovingly, and it was clear there was an instant bond. They all looked completely at ease, as though they’d known each other forever. It was a really special connection to witness. After all that fun, the children were keen to take Bluebell with them to feed the horses. They followed the footpath through the fields for around two miles, and Bluebell happily trotted alongside them, loving every second of the adventure. Bluebell was literally smiling—you know that way a dog’s face softens and stretches into what looks like a smile—and you could just tell how happy and content he was with them. When they got back, it was Joanna’s children who gently took Bluebell to his bed and made sure he was safely home. They did it completely naturally, without anyone asking or prompting them. It was such a thoughtful, caring thing to do, and seeing that kind of kindness and instinctive compassion in children was really special. Their little eyes were beaming with happiness, and it was obvious Bluebell had loved every minute with them too. Joanna has clearly brought up two wonderfully kind and caring children, and together they made Bluebell feel like part of the family. Knowing he was with them gave me complete peace of mind, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Joanna to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely love and care for their dog.
