Reliable, caring and responsible dog lover
I moved to London from the luscious countryside in the North of England, and although I love London life, I am missing my 3 family dogs. Since a young age I have always had dogs around and in my adult life I have been the sole carer for a gorgeous Westie until a few years ago. I am a very active person and love being outdoors. I spend a lot of time walking through or around parks which seems like a waste when I have no dog to walk! My previous Westie had a lot of health issues and dietary requirements so I am used to looking after a high maintenance canine. I am happy to look after dogs who require a lot of attention or dogs who like their own space. I work full time for a family and childcare charity working from home most days, and I can be available for early morning walks, evening walks and house sitting etc. I live around the Finsbury park area and can provide dog walking and drops ins around there, and would be happy to travel anywhere in London for house sitting. Unfortunately, I cannot look after dogs over night in my home due to my flat share but this may change depending on the dog and how comfortable they are in a new place etc.

Having used Jo’s services a few times in the past, she has become a trusted home away from home, for my German Shepherd, Baron. I can’t recommend Jo enough, for anyone looking for a reputable, and profession, carer for their furry loved ones.
Jo is awesome! Always professional, courteous, and has a very kind disposition. Most importantly, she’s established trust with my German Shepherd, to the extent that he is totally at ease when he’s with her. Very pleased to have someone so reliable in the local are. :-)
Jo was available at short notice, and provided a great service! Baron couldn’t wait to go in, so clearly remembered having a good experience last time :-)

Joanna is very experienced and it shows. After an intro meet in the park, I booked an evening stay. Joanna made herself available for Gizmo for the first couple of hours, which he needs as he’s still a pup and he gets excited by new environments and new people. Joanna got him to settle and later I picked up a happy puppy.
Joanna loves animals!! She is very caring and the best person to look after your pet. She used to look after my golden retriever Pola every time I was going on a trip and Pola and Joanna were having so much fun. Joanna will be the perfect person to take your dog in long walks because she really enjoys being outdoors. I fully recommend Joanna as a good carer for your pet.

Schedule
I currently work from home and therefore I can be really flexible around day time walks. On weekends I like to be out and about keeping active.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a flat with no garden, therefore boarding overnight in my home might not be possible. If looking after a dog in the pet owners home, I will make sure your pet in watered, fed and exercised, along with making sure your home remains clean and tidy.
A typical day
Typically I love exploring new parks and walking routes myself. Playing fetch, zoomies and continuing owners training routines are some of the things to expect, along with rest and cuddles.
