My dog was returned safely, but overall I was disappointed with the experience. Communication was very limited — I had to reach out multiple times to get updates. Over a stay of 16 days only 4 photos photos were sent and all were taken inside. There was also only mention of 1 hike the over the entire time. I was not informed that the sitter’s schedule had changed after booking. She was working nights, which meant my dog was left alone overnight, something I would not have agreed to had I known in advance. When I picked my dog up, there were several weed roaches on a table in the yard at dog height, which was concerning. At drop-off, there were also chicken bones in a bag on the floor within my dog’s reach. While my dog was unharmed, I didn’t feel the level of communication or environmental safety met my expectations.

My timid dog Hunter felt comfortable with Joanna right away. She provided incredible loving care for him while I was out of the country for 2 weeks. I highly recommend her.

Jo was very attentive to our pup Archie for the week he wa in her care. She communicated and sent pictures of his activities. He was happy to see us and appeared to have had a good week. We would recommend Jo.

Easy drop off and pick up. For regular updates and pictures. Kitty seemed very at ease in the new environment.
