A typical day
That would depend a lot on the pet’s preferences and the area but I like long and short walks, ball games and like to play at home too which is safer off lead. For cats I can use many toys and set up enrichment areas.

Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs since I was 15yo as my mom has been rescuing animals for many years. At many times there have been more cats and dogs in my family (both rescues and puppies) than humans with the current ratio being 12 to 7! Since moving to London almost 20 years ago I have volunteered for Mayhew Animal Home and Celia Hammond Animal Trust for many years taking care of cats, dogs and bunnies. I also work with dogs at home in my job as a nanny. I have experience with almost all breeds, different ages and health conditions. I can administer medication. I love walks and play time and see each dog as an individual:)

Joanna was lovely - we had a meet and greet beforehand and she really met the challenge of keeping a 5 month old spaniel happy! Suki was delighted and we’ve already booked Joanna again!
Second time booking Joanna, and she was incredible looking after Coco for two weeks! Since Coco is a reactive dog who needs special attention on walks, Joanna’s patient, calm nature was exactly what she needed to feel completely at ease. Joanna sent daily photo and video updates, which we loved. She truly cares about animals and loves what she does. We couldn't ask for a better sitter!
Joanna cared for our two frisky dachshunds in our apartment allowing us a stress-free five day holiday. On returning the dogs were totally relaxed and the apartment tidier than when we left! Joanna sent daily updates of dog walks and snuggle times so we knew they were entirely at home with her. We’re planning our next jaunt and will be scheduling it around Joanna’s availability.
