Animals were my first passion
I have cared for and raised a myriad of domestic and wild animals in my 36 years of life. I worked at Petland pet store for 3 years. I worked at a vet clinic in Sugar Land for 2 years. I was a volunteer at the Houston SPCA Wildlife Center for 1 year. Animals I have had as pets: Dogs, cats, parrot, parakeets, chinchilla, gerbils, hamsters, rats, mice, tarantulas, scorpions, frogs, lizards, non-venemous snakes, pot belly pig, ducks. Animals I have raised: Puppies, kittens, rabbits, squirrels, ducks, a woodpecker, possums.

Our pups love Joanna! She house sat for us while on our annual vacation, and both dogs were happy and well taken care of! Highly recommend!
Joanna has pet sat our miniature dachshund for 10 days while we were out of town. She is very attentive to details and instructions and sent a lot of updates while we were away. It is hard to find someone you trust with your fur babies but Joanna is that person for us! Maisie had a great time on her “vacation” and we will be using Joanna again!

Schedule
I am currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets! I'm available for pet-sitting, boarding, house-sitting, dog walks, and daily check-ins on weekdays and weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a spacious, 2 bedroom apartment that has two fenced dog parks. There is also a park & walking trail across the street from my apartment. I live 13 minutes from the Sugar Land Pawm Springs Dog Park that I love to take dogs to! I am a nurturing person at heart so cuddling and loving on dogs and other animals that enjoy affection utterly brings my heart joy. I just want to make animals feel safe, comfortable and loved <3
A typical day
I love to keep pets stimulated and engaged whether mentally or physically. Play time, cuddle time, nap time, walks, dog park visits, giving a bath or a good brushing, and adventures are all fair game! If you need me to run an errand to the pet store with your pet I am also happy to do that :)
