EXPERIENCE: My family had a dog before I was born—my first words were “Hi Dog” !! We had dogs, cats and hamsters, and as I grew older I walked dogs for work in high school. I acquired my sweet rescue dog Jinx as soon as I began living on my own 11 years ago. I’ve cared for several breeds of senior dogs with advanced care needs and am familiar with the unique needs of many kinds of breeds I’ve cared for in the past. Although Jinx used to be my “shadow” (always by my side), he recently crossed the rainbow bridge in October, so my home is currently pet free. Joanna did an excellent job caring for our three dogs—Abby, Mia, and Pearl—while we traveled for three nights. She followed all of our instructions and had wonderful communication throughout our trip, sending regular updates that gave us complete peace of mind. It’s clear how much she genuinely loves dogs, and she cared for ours as if they were her own. We came home to three happy, well-loved pups! We would absolutely book with Joanna again and highly recommend her!
Joanna always does an amazing job! She is very good at keeping you updated and following all pet care directions. Somehow I also always come back to my home cleaner than I left it too. My cats genuinely seem comfy with her and I would 100% recommend her.
As much as I hate leaving our pup, I can always do it with confidence because I know she is in such good hands with Joanna. We always get updates and photos while we are gone and she leaves the house in such good shape. We trust her immensely.
Joanna was exceptional, best dog sitter ever. Truly 5 star service. The communication was excellent, she took great care of our dog and treated our house like her own. I would rehire her in a heartbeat and recommend her to others.

ABOUT ME: I am an artist and freelancer who works from home. My schedule is very flexible to support pet care at this time—every day, at home or away. I would love to be the go-to friend to your pet when you’re not around! Please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Safety, trust & environment
ENVIRONMENT: I have a spacious, well-secured home in a safe private neighborhood with large fenced-in yard, easy in/out entry (no stair flights, elevators, etc) as well as all the equipment one would reasonably need to comfortably accommodate your dog in my home (food/water bowls, large dog bed, etc.). I am available to house sit as well, and can accommodate a variety of pet schedules given my flexible work situation.
A typical day
Many adventures around the neighborhood, a photoshoot, down time for belly rubs and games, toy time, many pets and snuggles throughout the day, plus treats for good behavior.
