Availability

I’m currently a college student attending school in New York and I’m home for the summer working part time. Because of that, I have flexibility throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. When I’m not working, I’m usually available before or after shifts and can work around most schedules with good communication.

About Joanna G.

Safety, trust & environment

I always prioritize safety, trust, and comfort when caring for dogs in both my home and a client’s home. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medications, and any behaviors or needs each dog may have. I make sure dogs are supervised, secure during walks, and comfortable in their environment at all times. I also believe communication is important, so I like keeping owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pets are safe and doing well.

Information Joanna G. would like to know about your pet

I think it’s important to know your pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level ahead of time so I can make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I’d love to know things like their energy level, favorite activities, feeding schedule, and how they usually act around new people or other animals. I also appreciate knowing any commands, triggers, or little habits they have so I can care for them the way you do at home.

A typical day

A typical day with me includes lots of attention, playtime, walks, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Depending on your pet’s energy level and routine, we can go on walks around the neighborhood, play with toys, spend time outside, or just relax together inside with plenty of cuddles and company. I also make sure pets stay on their normal feeding, potty, and exercise schedule as closely as possible so they feel safe and stress-free.

Pet care experience

I’ve been around dogs my whole life and currently have two French toy poodles of my own. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels, including puppies and older dogs that need extra patience and attention. I genuinely love spending time with animals and always make sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and well loved while their owners are away.
