I’m an experienced pet/house sitter, having looked after everything from blind toy poodles to escape artist hamsters in their homes - including managing baths, medication and vet visits. I grew up with beautiful energetic dogs and affectionate cats, and adore spending time with animals. I have a slew of friends’ dogs for who I’m the go-to person for overnight stays and walks, and like to get close to the pets I look after. I’ll always follow your instructions for your pet to the letter (but will have a sweet spot for dogs that are allowed cuddles with me on the sofa 🙂)

Joanna is an excellent dog sitter. We had regular updates whilst we were away which were lovely to receive and put us completely at ease. Bob our frenchie pug loved his time with her. She took him on lovely walks and we couldn’t have asked for any more. We’ll be booking again if we ever need dog cover
Great day care. Sent loads of photos and I could tell my dog had been kept occupied all day with games and good company.

Joanna was absolute life saver and accepted a last minute booking to look after Reggie. We all immediately felt at ease as she greeted Reggie calmly and obviously understood dogs really well. She took care to ask questions about him before we left and it was clear reggie was going to have a lovely day. We got lots of lovely pics of him lording it on the bed and lying in the garden. He was obviously calm and happy when I picked him up. Highly recommend!!!

Schedule
I am currently not working and so can be very attentive to your pet. I am very flexible about timings (pick ups, drop offs, arrivals), walking times and duration of care. I have a car (although it has a closed boot so can only carry dogs on the back seat)

I like pet sitting in the animal’s own home as it puts them at ease and smooths the discomfort that can come from being looked after by a new person If you prefer them at my place, my basement flat has a very safe walled garden, but I also have access to a beautiful park-like communal garden, and the park and seafront are 5 mins from my flat.
A typical day
I’m always guided by the individual dog. If you pet needs a lot of energetic play and stimulation, then frequent walks Other dogs prefer a calmer environment in which case there will be lots of cuddles on the sofa and gentle play.
Prices include all fees.
