Long-time animal rescuer & advocate
In high school I worked at a boarding facility. In college I worked for a veterinary hospital as a vet-tech. I was part of a therapy dog group for a bit where I would take my dog to visit nursing homes. I frequently rescued stray dogs or dogs in need. When I got married and got our home we fostered for the Blackwood Animal Shelter where we hosted 12 dogs throughout the year we were active. I have always owned a dog even as a child we had pets of every kind. I'm a stay at home mom raising my kids. Choosing me will not only provide a good place for your pet to stay but you would be helping me provide for my family.

I consider myself blessed to have found Joanna! My two dogs are 8 years old and have never had more than a day away from me before this visit. I knew there would be a huge "learning curve" for the dogs: one of the dogs has "special needs" i.e. thunder anxiety on top of a heart condition requiring several meds; the other had no experience with strange dogs or cats and typically reacts with high pitched anxiety! Joanna handled every aspect of their visit with professionalism and genuine care and concern. She even got Jackson to handle a face to face with her cat! A huge plus. I honestly don't know if I could have taken this vacation (first in 10 years!) had I not found Joanna! Highly recommend! I selfishly hope she stays around for a very long time so I might take another vacation!
Joanna takes excellent care of my animals when I go away. I have used her to care for my pets (2 dogs and a cat) for years and she has always been reliable, honest, and loving to them. I would highly recommend using Joanna's services for your pets, she is truly an animal lover and I feel comfortable knowing that they are in her care when I'm gone!
I love Joanna! She is bubbly and fun to be with! She is great with animals and has such a love for them! She has always had a heart for helping! She has a beautiful fenced in yard so your dogs are safe to run & play!
Joanna is a kind and compassionate person who has always had a "soft spot" for animals. I trust her to watch my children, and would certainly feel comfortable with her taking care of my pup if I needed a sitter. She has a loving home and a nurturing personality. I am sure your pet would feel right at home and feel safe and secure.
Joanna is a pet lover. In the years that I have known her, she has treated her pets with tender love and care. Her pets are apart of her family. Joanna is honest and I recommend her services.
