New to Rover, but not new to dogs!
I’ve been a dog person my entire life. I grew up with two Wheaten Terriers, helped raise and care for my sister’s Portuguese Water Dog from puppyhood, and now have an 11-year-old Pit Bull mix of my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities, and I understand that every dog has their own routine, quirks, and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I’ll always follow your instructions and treat your dog with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I recently moved to the area and am looking forward to exploring the local trails and neighborhoods with some new four-legged friends. My own dog is a senior now, so I’m excited to get back to taking longer walks with dogs who are ready to go! I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new. I’m happy to meet beforehand, get to know you and your pup, and make sure you feel completely comfortable with me before your first booking. Your dog’s safety and happiness will always come first. ❤️

I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s care. I’ll be communicative, respectful, and attentive to your dog’s routine and individual needs, with regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I also have experience with a reactive dog, so I understand the importance of patience, reading body language, knowing triggers, and keeping dogs in situations where they feel safe and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities!

Schedule
I have a full-time job, but I have a flexible schedule, often work from home, and make my own hours, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the week. With enough notice, I’m happy to work around your schedule and accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet-sitting needs whenever I can. I know every dog and family has their own routine, so I’m happy to coordinate ahead of time and find a schedule that works for everyone!
